Absolutely loved the old dairy farm, the birds, goats and birds of prey. The people who run it were great. The food was tasty. Get relaxing break

Drainage was an issue in the showers
Not enough showers given the size of the site (although a new set in the process of being built)

This is the second time we have stayed here and was not disappointed. We were sited as a group as requested and had lots of space to pitch up. The facilities were clean and tidy despite the site being full. The play area, goats and falconry are a great bonus and the onsite BBQ/food a great plus. This is a great site: we have decided to make our visits here an annual thing.

Good sized pitch which was relatively flat. Water tap on the pitch too, which was unexpected. Falconry display on sight was very good.

Facilities struggling to keep up with the sheer number of visitors on the camping field. It is a much bigger site than we expected and not enough toilets and showers to cope. No hot water left for washing up for tent friends.

Relaxed atmosphere. The birds of prey sanctuary is amazing and many thanks to Steve for his expert knowledge. Toilets are clean. Plenty of space on the site to allow play areas. Within walking distance of good pub.

A lovely site with fantastic facilities. My boys loved feeding the goats and looking at all the birds of prey and the parrot and even got to hold the barn owl, They learnt lots of facts too.
The pitches were a really nice size with running water and electric and the ground fairly flat.
The showers and toilets were kept to a high standard and very clean and the washing up area was a nice size with access to hot water.
The play park was a nice addition for the kids with a slide, climbing frame and swing. And the middle field was a nice open space for families to play ball games and football.
Walking distance from the site was the canal where you can walk along into a little town where we found a church and a lovely pub for lunch.
Inside the site they have a lovely shop which sells the basics and they have a kitchen open selling stonebaked pizzas and burgers at night and breakfast rolls in the mornings along with hot drinks.
We would definitely recommend this site and are looking forward to returning again soon

Quality of facilities, friendliness of staff, goats and falconry. A beautiful place.
