I liked the cozyness of the haycart, which brought my memories back when I was a young boy spending summer holydays with my aunt and uncle who lived in such a cart, because my uncle was working on very remote places.
All was clean and neat, and very friendly staff.

Everything. Unlimited pitch size which is always welcome, we had the field to ourselves on the first night. Lovely toilet and shower block, a little bit of a walk if you're in need but it's a working farm so can't really be helped - the path is well-lit for night time excursions. Location of the site was great for what we wanted to do. The owner is very friendly and helpful and the lamb mint sausages are a must if available.

    Disliked:

Didn't bother us but some might not be a fan of the cacophony of animal noises - we found the cats and the farm animals to be quite amusing but not for everyone.

We had a lovely weekend at Rouselands Farm. The field we stayed in was enormous! I also liked that they clearly only allowed for a few pitches, so it was lovely and chilled. Fire pits available, and the shower/toilet building was good, with a fridge/freezer, washing up facility inside, microwave and even a washing machine! What a bonus that they didn't charge too much for a pitch, compared with other sites. Would definitely recommend and stay again in future.

Tried to call when booking, but there was no answer. But this is a working farm, so that's completely fair enough and Alison was lovely, both in reply to my turn to email and when we arrived for our stay.
The camping field is enormous with licence to pitch anywhere. It's also a lovely green setting to enjoy.
There are only two showers and two toilets, but they're spacious and really clean and there's comfortably hot water. I spotted some kitchen facilities too, though we didn't use them. It seems that the numbers of those camping are deliberately kept low so as to make for a not uncomfortable ratio of people to facilities.
And there are cows. Calves and heifers in a shed in the yard that were happy to see us and have their heads rubbed.
As a bonus, Alison gave a warm recommendation of the Somerford Arms. The welcome and atmosphere was warm, the service excellent (just 20 minutes for food when they said 30 and the place was very busy) and the food, well, I wish I could get a meal that good for that price at home in Manchester.

Just a lovely place to stay. If occasion gives opportunity, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Rouselands again.

Quiet site in a good location for exploring the area, maybe a bit too far out for visiting the popular Cotswolds towns but within easy reach of Malmesbury and Tetbury
Clean toilet and shower facilities with hot, powerful showers!
Plenty of sinks to wash your dishes and a very welcome shared kitchen area with fridge freezer, microwave and kettle.
Great spacious pitches and amazing sunset views!
Friendly owner, that was there if needed but not intrusive
Would definitely stay again if visiting the area!

Huge field, with no restriction on pitch sizes, just pitch where you want! There is also a limited number of pitches so it didn’t feel busy/over crowded even though we stayed during a half term. The views were beautiful! It is a working farm, so lovely to see the cows and sheep as you walk around the site. Lovely, clean, hot showers and clean toilets too. The kitchenette area with indoor sink, freezer, electric kettle and washing machine was lovely, and the two additional outside washing up sinks meant there was never a queue. Whilst I didn’t meet the owners face to face, they were friendly and helpful when I spoke in the phone, and replied promptly and politely to a text message as well.

    Disliked:

The only gentle suggestion I have that could have possibly improved my stay was clearer signposting to the camping field from the farmhouse entrance (coming from Wootton Bassett, I came to the farmhouse first and was unclear where exactly I should go), and information ahead of time that you can pitch where you like on the camping field.
