Liked: The owners were very welcoming. We had booked a grass pitch but we're happy to put us on a gravel pitch due to the rain. Toilets and showers were cleaned every day. The on site shop was well stocked.

Liked: Friendly welcome, last stayed over 20 years ago and upgrades tastefully done maintaining the feel over all. Set in woodland , HWE generous size separated by trees. Quiet at night with only wildlife " owls" hooting and stars on a clear night.
Facilities clean and well kept.
We did appreciate heated shower rooms but hot water used up quickly so could be a problem in high season.
( we were only 1 of 2 pitches in use in October).

Liked: 2nd visit but 1st stay in megapod We loved it! Very Clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Enjoyed the amount of birds here before and this time was able to feed outside and watch to relax. Close to camel trail and other local walks from the site.

Liked: Quiet and off the beaten track. Pitches well spaced out and reasonably flat.
Near the Camel trail and easy to cycle to.
On-site shop well stocked for most basics that are needed. Owners polite and friendly. Toilet and shower blocks clean and work well thou looking a bit past their best. Overall a very pleasant stay and would go again.Disliked: Arrival time not properly agreed between pitchup and owners, meaning we arrived a bit earlier than owner expected. Luckily he was good enough to let us have a pitch anyway but had site been busy we would have had to wait outside for a period.
If you like to visit local pubs etc there are none within easy walking distance so a bike ride or car are better suited.
