The camping field is a free-for-all and because I turned up relatively late on a glorious day, I thought I might have an issue.

It was very busy but I found some level space in a good spot to watch the sun set.

The toilet/shower facilities are great, as is the location. Staff are very friendly.

Although it was busy (warm May Saturday) everyone was respectfully quiet after sun down.

The pizzas looked good, although I didn't have one.

No plugs for the washing up sinks but I understand why. Just bring a washing up bowl :)

Everything - everything at the site appears new and spotlessly clean. Staff very helpful. Stayed in a pod which was excellent. Very friendly family site. Pizzas and shop and shop a bonus. Great area to explore we’ll be back.

The whole site from arriving to leaving was a fantastic experience.
The staff are so friendly & helpful.
The site is spacious, clean & flat.
The facilities on site are superb, even with the arrival of 100+ on the second night, the showers, toilets & wash up areas were in tip top condition.
50p coin required for the showers for a 10 minute slot, which were very good.
Toilet roll plentiful & very good quality unlike other sites.
In fact the facilities are without doubt the best we've used in all our years camping & caravanning, and we've used a lot over the years.
Pitches are very spacious & there are picnic benches freely available scattered around the site for you to use.
The Wifi is fantastic & never dropped for me even with the extra folk arriving for the weekend.
Pizzas, Burgers & Bacon Butties can be ordered via the site website & you collect at the site shop at your requested time slot (which was very reasonably priced & well stocked).
Fire pits & wood are available from a member of staff who rides round the site on his quad with trailer asking if you needed any for the night. £8 for a net of wood, fire pits are free.
The staff are available throughout the day & on call at night via mobile number & any unsociable behaviour / rowdiness is acted upon efficiently & quickly.
A football goal is available at one end of the central grassed area for the kids to have a kick about.
Surrounding views from the site are stunning & the local village of Clapham is well worth a visit & its about 40 minutes walk via the river walk just across the road from the site. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting the cows daily crossing the bridge whilst walking to & from the village.
Other walks & information can also be found in the on site information room as well as free use of a freezer facility for ice packs etc.
A real gem of a site & we will definitely return at our earliest convenience.

Absolutely nothing to dislike whatsoever.

We had an absolutely fantastic time.
The showers where amazing. The ground was nice and level and even though the pitches are marked and you can go where you like people gave us enough space to it was not cramped. The walks around the area are lovely. The field for the dogs to be off lead was brilliant as dogs must remain on lead on the farm. The shop on site had everything you might need including toys for the kids. The farmer cam round and offered a fire pit and a huge bad of logs for only £8.
Everything was sign posted on the walks to the river. Though beautiful green fields with sheep and cows. My daughter was over the moon to get so close. I thought people's music was going to be an issue but everyone was quiet by 11pm so that wasn't an issue. The facilities where very clean and plenty. There is even some where to wash your dog if they got money. They thought of everything

The camping pod we stayed in was brilliant. First time in a pod for us instead of a tent, and definitely the way forward. So clean, convenient, more space than expected. Staff, as always, friendly and welcoming. Food option on the Saturday night was so easy to come back to after a full day out. Excellent site, very clean facilities.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Well maintained camping area and great location for walking. The fire pits are free to hire (just pay for logs). Toilet and shower blocks were very good and cleaned regularly. Bacon butties 10/10 on a Sunday morning

Very clean sites big pitches although it was very busy the toilets very very clean. Lovely views all round. Nice little river for the kids to play in not far from site.

A big wait for food but a new computer system was blamed so it was understandable

Very clean and tidy site. The staff were very friendly.
Although it was fairly busy we had plenty of room, we weren’t hemmed in.

Exceptionally clean, staff always on hand, fantastic location, rules not too strict but also well adhered to. Will certainly be back!
