Liked: Lake and river where amazing it was great to see my 16 Yr old son and sister 23 yrs and son in law enjoying them selves on the river and in there lake great for this hot weather great find by pitch up I recommend this site 120% I've come home refreshed from my camping weekend great for dogs very relaxed owners lots of families around also enjoying this site facilities the best clean and easy to use

Liked: How peaceful the camp site is. Loved that you can pick your own pitch. My kids (4yrs and 7yrs) absolutely loved playing in the river, they have already asked when we can come again. We will be back next year for sure! Can’t give a rating on the Wi-Fi as we had no use for it, a whole weekend without phones or iPads has been sheer bliss.
Disliked: Absolutely nothing.

Liked: The grounds were beautiful. The place really lived up to the name Misty Meadows. An idyllic location to camp. The site is within reach of some amazing sites. The owner Amy and her husband were very warm and welcoming during our stay. Would highly recommend staying here.
Disliked: The curfew of 10:30pm was a tad too early for me. Off course respecting the other campers and keeping the noise down is a priority but it would have been nice if there was an area set slightly away from the campsite where guests could sit and chat a while longer.

Liked: Love the pond with the paddle board and keyak, kids had hours of fun! Nice clean showers and toilets, the lady was lovely and very helpful, over all lovely site and will definitely book again

Liked: Beautiful pitch right by the stream. Plenty of space and very idyllic location. Showers were hot and the toilets were clean.

Thankyou for your review, it was lovely to meet you and I’m glad you enjoyed the meadows and surrounding areas. In terms of the curfew we like to say no loud noise after 10.30pm but sitting and chatting round your fire is absolutely fine as long as your voices aren’t raised. We just don’t want other campers disturbed after this time but there is enough space between pitches so just chatting shouldn’t be an issue. 😀
