Friendly and informative reception, well organised site with modern facilities including dishwasher, w/machine etc. Small shop for essentials and food van during the season for breakfast baps and different evening take aways. Walks down to Lynton, Lynmouth, Watersmeet and beyond but be aware it’s on a hill/cliff top and the return can be a challenge although the paths and signage are good. Would recommend.

A leak in the gents bathrooms during our stay was unpleasant but quickly sorted.

Lovely site. Friendly staff. Very clean and well kept. Hard standing pitches were very flat and big enough. Toilet and shower facilities are the best we’ve ever experienced on a camp site. Loots of pitch options and fields all have great views.
Would stay there again.

Only less positive aspects are the local roads which are ok for those experienced at towing caravans but may be quite nerve wracking for any newbies. Also the wind - can’t be helped but wow did it blow up the valley and batter our awning! Top tip- leave it unzipped front and back to allow air flow and prevent damage or awning flight!!

Everything. The stunning scenery, friendly welcome, peace and quiet, good wash up and showers and well stocked little shop. One of our favourite sites to date and good vfm if compared to other sites.

Quiet site in a beautiful location. Wonderfully helpful and friendly staff, including groundsmen keeping the grass and gardens immaculate. Super clean toilets and shower blocks (cleanest I've ever seen).Great dishwashing area, ice block freezing, power bank rental, even a dishwasher! Automatic sliding door to facilities block - so simple, yet so helpful. On-site bakery, foodie vans (bit pricey) coffee machine all great.

Many of term pitches are on slight slope.
No hooks on toilet cubicle doors - a small thing but would make visiting with a dry robe style coat much easier! Males in the family said blocked urinal was very stinky (staff on site were trying their best to fix it though). WiFi in Bay View camping field iffy.

It was well equipped. The toilets were clean. We liked the fresh baked goods in the morning and the view was lovely.

The toilets were far from our tent pitch.

We had a really nice stay. For a reasonable price we enjoyed staying in a pod with a comfy bed and views of the sea. The facilities on site were clean and well looked after, and the site itself a rewarding hike away from Lynton and the beautiful Valley of the Rocks. We also found the staff at the check-in desk/shop to be kind and friendly. We went to the shop every morning for freshly baked pastries and to get tips for hiking and sightseeing from the knowledgeable staff.

Very clean, good facilities, level pitch

The camp site had gorgeous views. Our pitch was located in the bay view area, with stunning views of the sea.
The camp site is clean and well looked after. The facilities on site are kept constantly clean.
Plenty of good walking routes near the campsite, leading to Lynton and Lynmouth. Highly recommend the cliff railway that connects both of those towns, providing some really good views.
30-40 min drive away there are some gorgeous beaches of Woolacombe and Ilfracombe, there is a lot of areas to go crabbing.
