Access roads not suitable for large towing caravans
Most pitches were occupied by camping tents
Toilet block not adequate for number of pitches

Excellent location, nice big numbered pitches.

Peaceful, basic well maintained pitches, hot showers and clean toilets. Fire pits allowed using own firewood. Relaxed atmosphere. Pick your own pitch.

The road leading into the campsite is not ideal for a motorhome.

The location was beautiful, nice added touches of a picnic table and then a nice bench at the top with a great view

there was a lot about for days out too just a little drive away such as markets and they have activities that we’ll try next time :)

the shower was nice and hot with good pressure and toilet facilities were in there own stalls which I wasn’t too sure they would be so was a pleasant surprised, all very clean too

We met one of the owners shortly after pitching up very friendly and over all just a great experience would highly recommend

it’s great value for money no added costs for things like campfire bbq etc

Not a dislike but seen some reviews about the ground being hard when putting the tent up, would recommend some strong tent pegs and it’s all good!

Very clean and tidy, views were lovely and pitches were a good size. Facilities were perfectly adequate, altogether a lovely place to stay . We stayed in a motorhome for two nights on a level pitch we could choose ourselves, the road in was a single track road but we had no problems getting there.

Stunning views. We liked being able to pick our own tent pitch on arrival. Nice area, perfect for what we wanted. Clean facilities.

Same sex group rule was not adhered to either night we stayed, nor was the quiet after 10pm - there was no staff presence at all. Whilst toilets were clean, the soap dispenser and hand towels were empty for our whole stay.
Didn't bother us, but lots of pitches are on a hill.
