This place is set up to sell park homes, tourers and campers are obviously not core business. Girl in reception was pleasant enough, but sales guy gave us dirty looks and was a bit rude when we pulled up to check in, obviously we weren't buying a park home and our 3year old Transit Custom camper was not something he liked to see. We booked a grass pitch as we have a gazebo and a dog, we were offered a gravel pitch with a 2x3mtr strip of grass or a spot anywhere in 'the field' (on a hill, next to the bins and with farm rubbish all around it). The facilities are aging badly, half the taps don't work and the showers are poor. At 7.30am some contractors turned up next to our pitch to do some work (great, it needs it), we were up and about so I said 'good morning' they grunted at me as if I shouldn't disturb them! Very strange. If your touring, camping or taking your own camper/caravan I'd find a different site, there are so many great friendly sites around Devon and Cornwall, this isn't one of them.
