Liked: Well presented campsite with excellent facilities. Very friendly staff who are happy to help if needed. Perfectly placed for long walks in the forest. Plus superb pizza!!

Pizzas on site with a shop. Great for familiesDisliked: Toilets were very messy, they have a chart on the back of the door on when they’re cleaned but they definitely weren’t.
Likely as it’s the holidays with a lot of children but they weren’t very nice to use sadly
Will be going again and again.

Liked: This was our 3rd stay on the site so obviously we do like it here. The facilities are great. Especially great for our kids! safe and lots for them to do. Showers are spot on.
Disliked: Only down side this time was a problem with the electric hook up kept tripping out and through no fault of our own. There is a section that has a loop with about 7/8 pitches and depending on combined usage it is too much to handle. We suffered a little bit for the first 3 days. But I must say that when we spoke to reception about it they couldn't apologise enough. They even solved the problem by supplying an extension cable from another hook up that meant our electricity never tripped again for our remaining 4 days! So well done and thank you.

Liked: Friendly people, we felt really welcomed. Delicious pizza, clean toilets and showers with very good water pressure. Close to the woods and small lake, size of the pitch, game room etc.
Disliked: Could do with 1 more hand dryer in ladies toilets, but not a big deal as the one there is really great and strong

Liked: We arrived to site earlier than scheduled, this wasn't a problem we were allocated our pitch straight away. Campsite was very peaceful, facilities on site were good and forest nearby to take a walk.
Disliked: Just a few minor issues:
*Shower lighting as sensor doesn't seem to pick up movement whilst in the shower - adjustment.
*Tiled floor in shower very cold, possibly supply duckboard.
* No hair drier facility or electrical socket for using your own hair drier

Thank you for taking the time to send us a review. We really are positioned well on the Herefordshire and Gloucestershire border to be able to access the many local attractions.
During the autumn months, when the leaves are absent, you will find that sound travels further especially at night. The longer nights and shorter days, can contribute to sounds being heard more distinctly during this time.

Liked: Stayed here for 2 nights. Lovely peaceful location. Staff really friendly and helpful. Lovely walks into the forest. Pizza was amazing. Really clean site, showers and toilets really clean. Definately return.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike apart from not being able to stay longer.

Liked: Beautiful site, well maintained, clean, plenty of facilities. Great location to visit lot,s of places, safe and owners friendly and nothing is to much trouble. We would highly recommend a stay at this site.
