Liked: What a really nice and clean campsite, with excellent facilities, we stayed in a pod for 2 nights , everything was perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Disliked: The area felt really unsafe. Millom not a nice town. Most basic of campsites and near dodgy industrial estate. Beach was mudflats.

Liked: Facilities were perfect and the site was kept so clean. Lovely walks nearby and a couple of convenient shops located.
Disliked: Would've been nice to have an onsite play area for the kids but there was plenty to do otherwise. Very windy site. Can't change it but just be aware.

Liked: Toilet/shower facilities were fantastic staff were exceptionally friendly and more than happy to help, really enjoyed the area too with some stunning scenery and fantastic walks. The on-site ice cream was highly reviewed by the kids as well!

Liked: Nice location, good layout to campsite, close to amenities, site clean and well maintained. Good shower and toilet facilities. Quiet and peaceful, despite being a bit busy at times. Has small cafe on site and short walk to beach.
Disliked: Due to location and layout, the grass tent pitches can get easily waterlogged and quite muddy, so worth bearing in mind. It did not affect us too much as weather was nice when we were there so although there were still patches of waterlogged/mud it wasn't too much and could be avoided.

Liked: Loved the whole site, very nice place. Facilities are brilliant also.
Referring to other reviews, shower room are really good they have a toilet in for my privacy and can fit a small family in together.
The bathrooms are used frequently and i saw staff cleaning them regularly. The people using them should clean up after your self. They have floor wipers so each family should be doing that after their use. I bet the poor staff cant keep up with peoples mess.

We are sorry you flet this way about the campsite and the area. We are one of the safest areas in Cumbria and the people of the area (millom and haverigg) are the friendliest and welcoming.
We have lots of beautiful beaches in the area but as you didn't stay you won't have seen them which is a bit sad really.The small beach across the road, gets muddy as you walk out but it has always been that way, the sand area is popular for sunbathers in the summer.
