Great little site with friendly and helpful staff. This was our second time here and will be back to explore the city.

Really nice park with friendly staff. Very quiet and peaceful.
Shower facilities are good - clean and up to date.
Pitches are good sized.
Very convenient for bus routes into York (£2 per person each way)

Nothing to dislike

Friendliness of the staff. They were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was clean and well maintained.

The showers near the field were barely warm. But the ones In the reception were more spacious and warmer.

Beautiful quiet surroundings.

Good sized pitches. Hot showers. Separate toilets and showers. Friendly staff. Little shop in reception with book and DVD library. Plenty of water points.

The showers are operated by a push button that needs to be pressed every 20 seconds which is a bit annoying and there's no extractors so it gets very steamy very quickly.
The wifi worked really well the first day but after that it wouldn't connect.
Not annoying enough to mark it down and we would definitely return!
