Liked: Beautiful site, perfect base for exploring the Forest of Dean. Quiet, spacious and well maintained.

Thank you for the lovely feedback Stacy, it was lovely to meet you. I am glad you found the site and location worked for you. The bus which has an optional stop at the bottom of our Farm is currently Stagecoach Number 23. The timetable is available online for those interested. The Train Station is Lydney and just a couple of minutes away by car/Taxi. Walking approx 25mins.

Thank you for the lovely comments, so pleased you enjoyed your stay. We try and place those visitors with children on the field side so that have the lovely big field for the children to play where parents can see them and enjoy games. Maybe a bit of kite flying too :)

Liked: Plenty of space for each pitch, lovely clean facilities. Each pitch clearly defined and levelled off, landscaped site with pond.

Liked: Lovely little site with small fishing ponds to walk around, good facilities and separate fenced in dog areas. Great location for Chepstow, Symonds Yat and the like.
Disliked: No shop on site, water in showers could have been a little warmer and being picky a shelf to put your shampoo and a mop or squeegee for the floor would have been useful. Small site but does have an event field adjacent which might make it busy / noises at times (not in use during our visit).

We are only a little site so a manned shop is not really feasible but we are just a few minutes away from Lydney Town and Blakeney Village for all your shopping needs :)Please do let us know if you find the showers a bit cool. Sometimes, Depending on the weather outside we might tweak it. We do not use the majority of the show field for camping unless for an event or specific Rally. We are a small site and love to keep it that way :)

Liked: Lovely, quiet campsite with electric hookup and drinking water points close to pitch. Good campsites for dogs can be hard to find but this one was excellent; large dog exercise area, plenty of walks around the campsite, and lots of dog friendly places to visit within short driving distance. Plenty of toilet and shower facilities that were clean and well maintained.
Disliked: No dislikes! No WiFi, but plenty of phone signal makes up for it.
HI Emma, thank you for the lovely feedback. Dogs are our Jam so we like to make sure they enjoy there stay too ;) Being rural we struggle with Wifi access but as you say the phone signal is excellent here for most networks and easily supports data usage. That said we may (still up in the air so watch this space) be able to bring a wifi hotspot to the farm in the next year :0

Liked: The scenery was amazing. Site was extremely clean and had new facilities. There was even a freezer for ice blocks, laundry facilities and not forgetting beautiful walks close by.
Disliked: 2 car campers could have used 1 pitch. Had to pay for 2 pitches. Very expensive.
Thank you for the lovely feedback about our site. We do clearly state that we allow one sleeping unit per pitch and the layout of the hardstanding pitches does not allow space for two vehicles with awnings as booked.

Liked: The pitch was excellent, well managed, very flat, spacious and with a lovely view.
The amenities were clean and warm. I particularly liked the free access to the freezer.
We didn't have our dog with us, but there was a specific area for dog walking and the site was clearly popular with dog owners.
Overall a really great site and good value for money.Disliked: –
