Friendly and very catering staff despite them not being overly keen on a group booking

Beautiful place to wake up in the morning

Can’t comment on the WiFi as we were only here for a night and didn’t even try to connect if they had any.

The spacious pitch with fabulous views, the well maintained grassed areas, the excellent showers and toilets were all first class. The check in was quick and everything explained in a very friendly manner. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

There really was nothing to dislike about this wonderful site.

Liked everything really. Lovely campsite with clean facilities. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great site shop with everything you need and stuff you've forgotten!
Decent pub at the entrance to the site with decent food. There was a pizza truck at weekends, and a free bus to explore the area.
100% going back at some point this year.

Very clean and peaceful site, I arrived after reception had closed and was met by the manager who was helpful and pleasant. Toilets were lovely and clean. Pub just outside the entrance, lovely food and drink. Great views from my camping pitch with lots of wildlife, buzzards, owls, cuckoo's and hedgehogs, I'm sure there would have been some squirrels but I never saw any.

Rocky ground making pitching my tent pegs difficult.

Location is the first thing, the everything else was amazing. The site was so well maintained... everything you needed was at hand. Best time we had this year.

Great campsite. Very close to Wastwater and a nice local pub - another nice pub a 5 min drive away. Respectful campers and extremely polite staff. We felt very welcome from the minute we arrived. The shop onsite is very well stocked. Toilets clean. Good facilities.

Nothing too bad to say - No signal which didn’t bother us. Toilets were often busy but not a long wait (it was Easter weekend so likely busier than usual). We struggled to put pegs in the ground due to locks of rocks but we asked to be near our friends with a camper so this might explain why. Great campsite overall.
