Location was very good next to the lake. Toilet facilities were clean and good. Staff very friendly.

Difficult to locate pitches as need clearer numbering and defining. Some pitches need to be levelled out to some degree to make them comfortable to use. Wi-Fi only available at reception.

Lovely location on the lake. Some sloping pitches. Large pitches shaded by trees. Direct access to the lake and beach area. Boating and water skiing available. Restaurant/bar and pool excellent. Baguettes and croissants available to order for next morning. Cycle path down eastern side of lake. Western side possible but more challenging on forest tracks over lots of tree roots. Wi-Fi available in area around reception. Toilets and showers really clean. Chemical and grey waste disposal and fresh water available in drive in area. Staff very friendly. Local town has basic supermarket and lovely cafe run by people from Sunderland.

A lovely site with plenty going on around it with the beach, waterskiing, mountain biking and superb countryside to enjoy. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and were comfortable conversing in English.
We were able to find a reasonably level pitch for our Motorhome which, despite being close to the through road and toilet/shower blocks, was nice and quiet throughout our stay.
The food, from a limited menu, at the on-site cafe was decent although the drinks felt somewhat overpriced (€3.50 for a Coke)
The showers and toilets were in reasonable condition and were cleaned early each day although I never did manage to activate the lights in the one male shower block.
This is a site that we would definitely recommend and one we will hopefully return to very soon.

Brilliant 12 mile mountain bike trail round the lake with some demanding sections
15 minute drive to the tragic village of oradour sur-Glane

Beautiful site with spacious and secluded pitches, lovely pool and clean facilities. Scenic walks around the lake, delicious fresh bakery breakfast.

Lake and beach. Watching the wake boarders was good. Good size pitch.

Shop and restaurant sporadic but was late in season. Water in showers like warm! Hard to find as the site as the site is not called camping du lac de Saint pardoux!
