Liked: Very peaceful. They have a fantastic quirky bar đź‘Ť served by a very helpful young girl. Food at the restaurant top notch. Facilities basic but all working correctly. Really good hot showers.

Liked: The site is positioned in an outstanding beauty spot, with walks, the beach and a farm shop within easy reach. Then, to top it off, the restaurant (excellent food) and microbrewery is a short stroll away.
This was our first ’Pitch Up’ site and all the reviews reflected this great site. We will return one day.Disliked: –

Setting was relaxedDisliked: 1 sign saying dogs to be kept under control which should mean tethered or on leads. Plenty of dogs roaming and not under owners control which added to them barking and causing tethered dogs to bark which ruined the peace of the stay. Owners need to enforce it or lose return custom

Liked: Lovely relaxed camp site, great location, clean facilities, great hosts and the restaurant on site is a must. We really liked that we could check in/out at any time which meant we didn't have to get up too early on our last morning to take the tent down.
Disliked: Nothing really, I would just recommend not camping too close to the portaloo's as we got a wiff of urine every now and again, but this can't be helped and was our fault for camping too close to them. The toilets were clean and didn't smell when you used them.
