The views are just beautiful especially for being near a town centre felt as though we were in the middle of nowhere. The cafe in the morning made fantastic breakfast rolls and a brilliant cup of coffee.

Very friendly staff and lovely welcome. Campsite itself was well presented and plenty space to choose from. Facilities were very clean and the breakfast in the on-site cafe was lovely! 20mins from the centre of Glasgow!

No shower. Was aware before booking though!

Very friendly staff, clean toilets not on site but less than 2 min walk away so not a problem. Plenty of areas for tents on cut grass. I parked in the overflow carpark next to carpark onsite which was great and very quiet, remember to bring midge spray 🤣.
Excellent breakfast at the cafe and again staff very friendly and accommodating for my daughter who has a dairy tolerance.
Bird of prey Centre was fantastic, all staff very knowledgeable and a great bird show as well. Highly recommended to stay and visit.

Very good place to stay, very friendly people running the site and the World of Wings bird of prey centre was an excellent day out.

Not a lot really, clean loo probably the only thing.

A major long journey meant we might not arrive before 5pm ( or is it 430? The details quoted two different times.) after which, reception is closed. If we intended to arrive between 5pm and 7pm we should ‘select the extra’ - no idea what this meant - and we would be charged on arrival. Our confirmation email said we would be charged £10 for this late arrival time. No arrivals permitted after 7pm.
Luckily we arrived before 5pm. The ‘site’ is a rough stoned area, on a post industrial site. The barrier to the site which allegedly would be locked at 7pm is an old pole lying in the grass- not used for some time, so the 7pm curfew is mythical. Water is back up the lane at ‘world of Wings’ bird of prey centre.

Place, view, quality of grass, closeness to town

Small car park too small to fit all pitchees but big one had stones a bit too big and sharp for my liking and felt that they could damage tyres

Friendliness of staff, the views, the fact they had a hose to use to top up fresh water (a lot of other campsites say bring your own hose)

Maybe could add a shower for luxury
