Antioche d'Oleron is 150m from the ocean and many nearby cycling paths. We have an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, paddling pool and sun loungers in our pool area. At our campiste, children always have a smile on their faces thanks to our play area with an inflatable turtle, climbing net, rope ladder and slide. We also have a table tennis table, table football and a pétanque pitch.
In July and August, children aged between four and 12 years old can go along to the kids' club which runs in the mornings from Monday to Friday, and offers a range of activities such as arts and crafts, puppet making, painting, jewellery making, and board and ball games.
To make the most of the summer nights the campsite organises evening entertainment at least once a week in July and August, from themed meals to dinner dances. These events are ideal for meeting other guests and make for a fun evening.
At the campsite snack bar you will find bread and pastries cooked on site. If you don't want to eat lunch or dinner in the restaurant or on the terrace, the snack bar also offers a menu of dishes to take away o you can enjoy pizzas, fish and grilled meat dishes (quality meat selected only) as well as sandwiches, mussels, chips and ice creams in your mobile home or on your camping pitch.

Local attractions
Ile d'Oléron is an excellent base for exploring the area's natural beauty and surrounding attractions. Visit the Marais aux Oiseaux nature reserve, track the 'Route des Huîtres' oyster trail, see the salt marshes or take one of the fishing or leisure trips which depart from Saint-Denis via La Rochelle, Ile d'Aix and Ile Madame. You can uncover dunes and forests and hop on the Saint Trojan tourist train which runs around the forest and along the coast.
Local heritage sites include Château d'Oléron Citadel, Fort Louvois, Fort Boyard and numerous lighthouses including Chassiron which is an impressive 46m tall.
The island of Oléron is a mecca for board sports. You can try your hand at sand yachting, windsurfing, canoeing, kayak, sailing and surfing. Nature has been very generous here and the wind and waves along the wide sandy beaches are perfect for watersports. If you like surfing and adventure, don't miss the big waves at Domino and the surfing spot at la-Brée-les-Bains.
There is no better way to discover the island of Oléron than along the cycle paths. There are 110km of cycle paths that wind around the island of Oléron and Marennes and bikes can be hired from the campsite at an extra charge from a local cycle hire company.
