Liked: Excellent facilities! Nice spacious pitches, nice location, overall a lovely clean looking campsite. Ability to order pain and croissants etc. the day before.

Liked: Friendly and helpful check in - English speaking. Quiet and peaceful campsite. Good facilities - toilet, shower, washing up, sitting areas (indoor and outdoor), plus a table tennis table.

Disliked: N/A (nothing to dislike).

Liked: Clean facilities.

Disliked: Unfortunately our van was broken into when we were out having dinner that evening jn Le Mans so was late’ish getting back to the site (10.30pm) only to find the gate and barrier locked! We was given a key fob at check in so assumed we’d use that to gain access but no the gate is locked after 10pm! Out tent with our belongings was still in the site so we had to make endless trips to get our stuff and left. There was no telephone number to call incase of an emergency such as this which is shocking really. So essentially you are either locked in or locked out after 10pm with no way at all of getting out or in! God forbid there was a medical emergency and you needed to leave, this needs to be rethought immediately.

Liked: Shower block clean

Disliked: No information re facilities on arrival . Option to turn right or left to pick own pitch . Turned right into what developed into very tight cul-de-sac lined with overgrown trees. Would have been impossible to turn around with caravan had all pitches been full. Pitch required motor mover . This side of the site much more suited to small camper vans. Will stay overnight while travelling again as facilities were clean and well kept. Next time we’ll turn right and would appreciate some customer care on arrival!

Liked: Nice sized and secluded pitches. Got to choose on arrival. Spacious campsite, nice hot showers and clean toilets and facilities. Walking distance to a nearby village. Staff on the arrival desk was helpful. Very nice playground for children and a room with activities if a wet day

Disliked: Swimming pool was pretty cold but that’s it for negatives

Liked: On arrival the staff were very helpful and friendly. Site is good size with plenty of different size pitches with electric and water. Nicely kept, well clean swimming pool. There is small play area for children and a Pizza Hut which did the most delicious pizzas. Showers and toilets were also kept very clean. A nice quiet site. This is second time here but use as stop over, will extend stay next year as we would like to explore Le Mans. Would definitely recommend.

Liked: Out of all the camping parks we stayed in, this was by far the nicest. The location is gorgeous and the facilities are 5 star. The staff are very friendly and we’re always available if we had any queries. Bathrooms were exceptionally clean, at all times. We will certainly visit again.

Liked: Staff were excellent and the facilities were clean, in enough quantity and showers were good.

Disliked: If the site is busy some pitches would have been difficult yo get into depending on the cars parked or size of your motorhome.

Local attractions

The lovely Le Mans will keep you very occupied. Begin at the Museum of the 24 Hours of Le Mans (10 minutes’ drive), a huge part of the city’s history. There’s a number of historic sites that you’ll likely want to tick off one by one, too… The Royal Abbey of Epau (10 minutes), a former Cistercian abbey, is one. Another is the spectacular Cathedral of Saint Julian of Le Mans (15 minutes), which is both Romanesque and Gothic in style. Historic spots under your belt, you might fancy a light-hearted afternoon on the rides at the local amusement park, Papéa Parc (10 minutes) or on one of the steeds at a horse-riding centre (10 minutes). The zoo Domain Pescheray (20 minutes) will be another treat for those who like their different animals. And what about a peaceful day canoeing, biking or strolling aimlessly? The Water House (Arche de la Nature) (10 minutes) has quiet woodland walking paths, as well as bike and canoe rentals.

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.

Reception is open from 8:30 a.m. to noon and from 2:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. between 01/07 and 31/08.
Reception is open from 9 a.m. to noon and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. between 08/03 and 30/06.
Reception is unmanned after 7 p.m.. Please inform the campground while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time so that the team can provide information about your unit/site.

The campground/park is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.

Vehicles

The car is only included in the rate if you are travelling with a touring caravan or a tent. If you wish to bring a car along with your motorhome/campervan please select the extra.

The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

The outdoor swimming pool is open between 15/06 and 31/08 (subject to weather conditions).
