Local attractions

Just under 100 km from Melbourne at the junction of the Goulburn Valley Highway and the Melba Highway, we are ideally situated for ski trips to Mt. Buller, fishing and water sports activities and simply relaxing, taking in the area’s scenic and historic sites or simply relaxing and enjoying the environment.

A unique way to see the town is to enjoy tea, lunch or dinner on a horse-drawn tram that slowly travels through the picturesque streets and there are plenty of shopping opportunities with the commercial centre extending along either side of High Street with a picturesque park running down the middle.

On the edge of town, the Yea Wetlands have been developed to provide the public with access to walking tracks and bridges from which the flora and fauna of the area, including koalas and platypus, can be observed as well as native plant species. Be sure to visit the Frog Pond, home to many frog species and the living fossil, the coloured damselfly.

Further along, the Cheviot Rail Tunnel harkens back to the days of gold mining and timber getting with the help of the railway that can now be experienced as part of the Great Victorian Rail Trail.

If you need to cancel or amend your booking, please give as much notice as possible so that someone else has the chance to book. You may wish to buy holiday insurance for cancellations and for your property/injury whilst away.

Admission
Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.

Safety
Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

General
Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.

Dogs
Dogs are not allowed during high season between 01/12 and 20/01.
Dogs are not allowed in the on-site accommodations.
Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.

General
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.

Arrivals and departures
Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.

Extras
Motorcycle(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

Occupancy
No bachelor/bachelorette parties permitted via Pitchup.com.

Arrivals and departures
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.

Pool
Only park guests are authorized to use the pool.

General
Quiet hours must be respected between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and trunks must be closed quietly.

Reception
Reception is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. between 01/12 and 26/01 and between 01/05 and 30/09.
Reception is unmanned after 6 p.m.. Please inform the park while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.

General
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behavior is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Pool
The outdoor swimming pool is open between 01/11 and 15/04 (subject to weather conditions).

Dogs
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

Admission
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Visitors
Visitors’ cars are not permitted on site.
Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee.

Hired accommodation
Your unit must be left clean and tidy; a fine of $50.00 will be charged for unclean units upon departure.
