It’s always a reassuring sight to see a swathe of gushing reviews for a site... and you'll surely be chuffed to read the ones for Tretio Caravan and Camping. ‘…really friendly, helpful owners’, ‘the best [facilities] I've ever been to’, ‘everything a family could ask for'… this is a properly popular place.

And there are some properly popular places close by too: Tretio is 10 minutes’ drive from St Davids and within easy reach of several of Pembrokeshire’s loveliest beaches and its fab coastal path.

All are welcome at this peaceful and well-maintained park, but it’s particularly well set up for family hols. Hours of entertainment await the tiddlers at the climbing wall, nine-hole pitch and putt course, ball games field and play areas, and there's live music once a week in high season too. Those acclaimed facilities include a family bathroom and a baby changing area.

A little shop on site is stocked with everyday basics (milk, bread and the like); for more substantial eats, head into St Davids for restaurants and supermarkets, or get in the queue for the burger and pizza van that comes to the site once a week in high season.

The couple that run the site are brilliant. Especially as a solo female camper they regularly checked on me to make sure that I was safe and well.
The toilets and showers were really clean and the site itself was well maintained with mowed grass.
The location is great for coastal walks which are about half a mile away on foot.
It is a quiet site so if you are looking for a get away for some time out this is a perfect location.

Liked:	The site was well-maintained with generous-sized pitches. The site itself was also a nice size, i.e. not too big, and had a nice atmosphere. Showers were hot. Short walk to the coast was a nice bonus.
Disliked:	Grass-only pitches could be an issue in wet weather, but we were lucky that it was dry.

Liked:	Yes. Clean shower and toilet facilities. No access to the laundry room (locked), this may because of Covid 19 restrictions. The manager of the site came to each pitch to warn campers of adverse weather conditions expected for the following day/night.

Local attractions

Beaches… lots of them. Walk across fields and farm tracks to hit the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and nearest (dog-friendly) beach in half an hour, drive to top surf spot Whitesands Bay in 10 minutes or so, or take a short drive north to gaze out over the Blue Lagoon in Abereiddy.

For active adventures, local operators can arrange trips including coasteering, scuba diving, surfing, rock climbing, horse riding, kayaking and windsurfing – chat with the friendly folk on site for the best options.

The Welsh weather being occasionally a tad unpredictable, it’s a good idea to have wet-weather plans up your sleeve: perhaps the bouncy Hangar 5 trampoline park half an hour away, or the nipper-pleasing Dr Beynon's Bug Farm, 10 minutes away (you can even feast on insect-based snacks here if you feel so inclined).

No refunds within 4 weeks of arrival date.

No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.

If you need to cancel or amend your booking, please give as much notice as possible so that someone else has the chance to book. You may wish to buy holiday insurance for cancellations and for your property/injury whilst away.

Please note that your deposit is paid to Pitchup.com and is non-refundable.

Payment

Deposit transferable during COVID-19. Tretio Caravan and Camping will debit the balance from your card 4 weeks before arrival, or if the arrival date is sooner than 4 weeks then the balance will be taken immediately.

You can also opt to pay the full amount at the time of your booking.
