Liked: the location was very good great views owl calls through the night . the owner i think he was named Ian, greeted us and showed us to our pitch which i thought was a very nice touch and very friendly to.
Disliked: the noise of the traffic through the night but expect due to the site being close to a busy road

Liked: Clean site, with regular cleaning during the day. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location with easy road links to nearby attractions. Lots of hot water in free showers. A number of caravans in what appear to be settled places gives a calm atmosphere to the site. Access via barred gate (code provided) means no random people on site, so feels good and secure. No on-site shop, but very big supermarket and petrol station very close, though neither used.
Disliked: Tent pitches a little sloping but habitable. Road noise from nearby A road constant, but no more than a quiet hum.

Liked: Great location and clean facilities. On arrival we were greeted by Amanda and Ian who made us feel very welcome. They showed us to our pitch and explained the camp layout and facilities. We came to do a run in the area but my wife forgot her running shoes. Amanda and Ian quickly got to work trying to find some trainers she could borrow. Within 15 minutes they had it sorted. We got to do the run next day and my wife was extremely grateful. Thank you so much for going the extra mile!!
