Thrills in Rhyl or getting out to play in Colwyn Bay: both are in easy reach of Ty Mawr Holiday Park on the north Wales coast – along with gorgeous beaches, market towns, charismatic castles, and the inspiring scenery of the Welsh mountains.

This buzzing, family-oriented park is great for kids: they’ll spend hours whizzing down the flume into the indoor pool and running around the large outdoor playground, and can join Sparky the rabbit and his Krew in the free kids’ clubs for all ages. There are also plenty of organised sports activities on offer.

In the evenings, the whole family can enjoy a knees-up at the all-singing, all-dancing entertainment bar, where live bands and cabaret make a regular appearance, as well as fun theme nights and competitions.

The various food options on site include plenty of takeaway choices at the Rendezvous diner and the Boathouse bar and restaurant.

Modern amenities include toilets, showers and heated changing areas.

Liked:	On site facilities were good restaurants very clean affordable prices staff polite .
Disliked:	Culture on site is poor we found lots of people smoking cannabis openly around the site with nobody challenged, also pitches on touring site need work they make the site feel touring is not an area they care for just put in corner .

Clean facilities the toilet and shower block on the camping pitches was excellent always seemed clean while I was there.

Didn’t see any rubbish left around and plenty of bins available.

Easy to navigate the site and pitches look very flat from what I saw.

Disliked:

Not much but price of pub on site but that was to be expected.

The location was great, the reception by staff was good, the pitch was perfect, the facilities were more than expected, bar, chip shop, arcade etc.
Everything was well spaced for the static caravans and the touring pitches.
Directs to the pitch were good with the plan we were given and the route to follow marked.
Local pub (Jakes) was just a few minutes walk with good food was also excellent.
The beach was only a 10 minute walk away.

Disliked:

Trying top find the way out, its a large site with many static caravans set out along either side of the pathways which is all very good and organised however, the pathways are a one-way system for traffic and trying to find our way out was frustrating.
A few exit signs would be helpful.

Liked:	This is not our first time here been a few times over the years. Park is clean and tidy. Staff are always on hand to help. There are lots to do for the children during the day. My girls loved the new high ropes this year. Toilets and showers clean and tidy always stocked and checked. Good pitch close to toilets. Walking distance to towyn with more to do for the children and the market.
