What customers say
Great value, peaceful dog-friendly site with stunning views. Praised for clean hot showers, big pitches, fire pits, and secure areas for pets. Downsides: confusing signs, rough access tracks, inconsistent management, limited dishwashing, and occasional toilet cleanliness issues.

Mostly level field but facilities poor & not maintained/cleaned.
Unpowered grass caravan site (family)
Liked Field was reasonably flat & plenty space
Disliked Nobody around to check in & signs were not obvious. Phoned the mobile & was told just to find a pitch & she would be down to check everyone in 45 mins. Nobody appeared! There was only 1 toilet working & queues the whole time as was busy & no toilet roll or anything to dry hands. There is nothing stopping Joe public going down without paying as nobody checks!

Nice site, shame about the toilets.
Unpowered grass caravan site (family)
Liked Price, dog friendly aspect, the shower was really good.
Disliked There are only 2 cubicles on site, both a combined toilet and shower. 1 toilet wasn't working which led to big queues when there were 40-50 people on site. Also the washing up station was a table and dirty bowl with only cold water.

Unpowered grass caravan site (adults only)
Liked Amazing views and loads of space. Being able to have a fire at night was great.
Disliked Although having toilets onsite was good, there did seem to be some drainage problems. which was disappointing considering there were only 4x vans and 2x tents onsite. This was reported to the owners and so I'm sure it will be addressed.
Toilet disposal point not clearly sign-posted either?

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site (adults only)
Liked I arrived there and saw the sign board to the property and entered. But I could not find any reception and saw no tents at all, no directions of where to go to check-in or where to pitched. I crossed the road and drove through the entire opposite side. Then the same again for both sides of the road, I called the number but no response. The next day I emailed them and demanded a refund: no response.
Clearly, this looks like a rip-off situation,
My advice: best stay away.

Would stay again if in the area despite the track.
Unpowered grass caravan site (family)
Liked The site and views were lovely, very peaceful. Had a non enclosed pitch but love the idea of enclosed ones for you to let your dogs roam. Showers, loos, and waste/water/rubbish points all good. Fire pits were a great touch. Nearby enclosed dog exercise paddock is a useful addition if needed.
Disliked The track in with a touring caravan was a bit too rough. We lost a Bigfoot on the way out. No signs to show which track to take once at the little split but a neighbour came out to help and explained new sign was being made (tank you to that lady).

Liked Legend field easy to find your on flatfish space
Disliked Confirmation email said book in at Reception and then a few paragraphs down did that there is no Reception!
Provided toilet/shower facilities were disappointing, poor toilet flush in one, very tired fixtures/fittings in the other.
A day of doing DIY would improve this greatly.

Disliked There was no one there when we arrived, no one to explain things to us.we just pitched up where we wanted. The showers /toilets were dirty. We arrived around 4.30pm and left next day at 10.30 am, no one had been to clean them in that time.
