Rental tent (four person)
Liked: Perfect position to visit everywhere. So much to see and do and literally next door to Dartmoor's Visitors Centre. Loads of options for places to eat right on your doorstep although we chose to save money and cook for ourselves. Nikki and her husband couldn't do enough for us and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The tent was well set up and the bed was very comfortable. Visited, Tavistock park, Huckleberry Bridge, Chorwell Riding Stables and Devon Cycle Centre.
Disliked: The communal kitchen area was a little dirty because the roof needs finishing properly, however this, we were told is on the list of things to do. Definitely could do with a freezer for icepacks just a small one in the communal area would be perfect however this is also on the agenda to be done and Nikki kindly took them and froze them for us. It's a shame that insurance won't allow controlled fire pits by the tents but that unfortunately can't be helped (however the log burner in the communal kitchen was a lovely alternative) So much potential for this place as we were there their first glamping booking, we were very impressed and look forward to seeing how it's progressed on our next visit as we will definitely be back. Things we'd love to see if possible, . Some squishy bean bags or blow up sofa in the communal area. . Hot tub use in the communal area .Freezer (small one for ice packs) .mended roof in communal area as quite a lot of debris and dirt dropped down onto the kitchen food prep area so had to constantly clean.

From the manager: Thank you so much for your feedback. We are definitely taking a most of your suggestions on board, some things such as the beanbags just won't work because of the nature of the Dartmoor climate. We will be looking at possibly providing a freezer and I'm sure that we can do something to stop the trees dropping in the kitchen area. It was great to have so much feedback and also to see you all enjoying your stay so much. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and we look forward to welcoming you back soon!
