Flying Horse Lawn is a peaceful glamping site located between the city of Sheffield and the Peak District National Park. No need to decide between town and country explores at this nifty little site – you're just five miles from the centre of the city (which, for added convenience, you can also access by bus) and within 10 minutes' drive of Bamford Edge, one of the most rewarding walks and climbing routes around. There's no TV, wifi or running hot water at Flying Horse Lawn, but there is a lot of nature to explore over the site's three gorgeous acres. Remember to bring your power packs, as there's no mains electricity either (some are available from the site team if you haven't brought your own). Flying Horse Lawn is in a quiet location five minutes' walk from the Rivelin Valley, a pretty riverside nature reserve where walking and wild swimming are on the cards. It's also roughly a five-minute walk from an independent café where you can grab hot drinks. The Three Merry Lads, a well-reviewed local pub, is half an hour away on foot.
