The facilities on site were brilliant, the barn kitchen was fully equipped with even tea,coffee and biscuits. Would recommend as a base for exploring the area.

The shepherds Hut was cute but needed a row of hooks to at least hang towels and jackets up.

One of the best sites I've ever been to (according to the kind of sites that my husband, myself and children have always gone for...quietish, not too many people and no bar or entertainment as in clubs etc).

Lovely, lovely campsite. Very peaceful, surrounded by fields...quiet country roads and footpaths, hardly any vehicles on roads.

The owner has thought of just about everything. In the gathering barn, tables, chairs, stoves, pots, pans, utensils, crockery.....even tea towels, washing up sponges and liquid. Fire pits, barbeques to borrow..kindling, firelighters and logs to buy. There are even two or three OS maps in the barn of the locality...really useful for getting your bearings, especially when seeing where the footpaths lead.

Playthings and boardgames for children (or adults).

Shower lovely, hot and efficient. Everything kept clean, hand sanitizer in barn amd toilets.

Owner friendly and helpful.

Easy to walk to Chipping Sodbury or Old Sodbury (and the Dog Inn...had lunch there, baked potato and salad, very nice). Plenty of footpaths and there is Sodbury Common to walk across. There is also The Cotswold Trail and the Monarch's Way in close proximity. Great for hikers wanting to follow those trails. And if you bring pushbikes, a lot of flattish roads just in the vicinity (though there are hills around). And of course, if you have a vehicle, places like Bath, Dyrham Arboretum and other places of interest are quite close, relatively speaking.

All in all I think it is an absolutely fantastic site, very well organised and kept. I can't praise it highly enough.

Lovely little campsite!!! Toilets and showers were beautifully clean with great washing up facilities. The open barn with cookers and tables was perfect! Not that we needed it as the kids weren't with us but there was loads of kids toys and games and highchairs. Would definatly recommend to familys. We brought our camper van to stay in but the bell tents looked really beautiful and the added bonus or free fire pits and just buy a bucket of wood was amazing! We all sat round of an evening enjoying the sunset amd roasting marshmallows! A little hidden gem of a site!! X

Can park car next to pitch which are all flat and offer great views into south facing open field - saw some lovely sunsets. short walk to toilets even if you pitch at the end of the site.

Friendly owner came round to check us in after we pitched up.

Very clean toilets and shower area - Cleaned daily (2 male toilets and shower and same for female) also another toilet and outdoor shower at end of site.

Very clean washing up area with everything you could possible need with lots of hand sanitiser in all areas.

Communal cooking area again very well equipped also seating area with games/info sheets etc.

Logs/charcoal available to buy onsite to use in bbq/fire pits also provided.

Would happily travel another 5hrs again to stay at this very peaceful site

Having to leave! There was nothing to fault at all

We stayed in one of The Huts and booked for one night just to get a break....We regretted straight away not booking for longer! This site is fab, clean, peaceful with the nicest host....Thanks Liz! Nothing is too much. The site is cleaned regularly and we were left to just enjoy our stay.
The toilets were cleaner than some hotels I have stayed in! Soap a plenty and even shampoo in the shower. Free tea and coffee which was appreciated in the morning! The fire pit was lovely to sit round in the evening. There was coal and wood a plenty! Thank you for such a great stay! We will be back :-)

Nothing- beautiful place

The tent, proper beds, hot water bottles and cosy blankets, very nice hot showers, the gathering barn facilities, fairy lights, fire pits, space for kids to roam, a friendly host, toys for the kids and the ride on tractor!

Lovely well kept piece of land.
Lizzie the owner was so generous, kind offering campers a lovely well furnished barn with cooking facilities toys for kids, generally somewhere for people to meet up to socialise.
