Plenty of play areas for children, good sized flat pitches, and country walks on your doorstep. Being coeliac has its limitations, but the onsite shop/tea-rooms catered for my dietary needs; they even had a gluten free menu which is a rarity on other campsites. 10/10 all round!

Thank you for your review. We are glad that you found all the staff friendly and helpful and found our toilets and shower block to be clean and tidy. It's a shame that you weren't able to get a seat inside the tea rooms. I'm sure if you had a chat with the staff in there they would have happily reserved a table for you during your stay.
The games room has a table tennis table and a selection of board games in it. We don't have any electronic games in there. We do have a nice play area outside for children.
I am glad that you would recommend us to your friends. Maybe one day when your children are older you will visit again.
Nature friendly, family friendly, couple friendly! Great site.

The tent pitches are lovely and level and well spaced out, so you're not on top of each other. I love the way it's landscaped with plenty of trees and shady spots. And lots of play areas for the kids - which are just far enough away from the pitches so they're not noisy! The washing facilities are immaculate, lots of free hot water in the spacious showers and they're always kept clean. Honestly some of the best we've ever encountered. There's a shared fridge and microwave, which was handy. And washers and driers. It's a beautiful site with lots to explore, and we will be booking a return trip next year for sure. Also, we did see the red kites overhead!

Δεν μου άρεσε: Missed the warden this year. A large dog was just allowed to roam around the camp field not on a lead. Not everyone is a fan of dogs. I brought my dog who did not appreciate another random dog in its tent.
