Toilet block is poor needs modernising and felt it wasn’t clean enough, a quick clean was done but could do with having everything washed down ,doors showers and walls regularly. Generally over all dirty and definitely not cleaned to good standard .
Pool was cold pump broken and chlorine levels way to high as daughter of 9 kept saying around her mouth was awful and taste was so strong ( we swim regularly so she knows the difference )
Got impression they didn’t really want camping anymore at this location. Staff not overly friendly didn’t like being told was dirty facilities.

Pool, clean toilets and showers, friendly staff, shop had all the essentials, well kept, not too loud and busy.

Lovely campsite, very peaceful, the kids loved the play area and swimming pool. Would definitely come again.

Shop and staff friendly. Clean shower blocks, all be it only one shower block for the whole site.

Pool is not heated and freezing cold. Kids not allowed to ride electric scooters due to previous accidents which I get.
No pot washing facilities

The welcome text for the barrier, the welcome it's self in the shop. We were short of an extension as ours didn't reach and we managed to borrow one from the Maintenance manager on the site. The showers were hot! The pitch its self was very spacious. The shop was well stocked with fresh sausage rolls and other pastries and you could pre order!!!!

The weather but that can't be helped, we packed away a night early as the rain was coming in. The shower blocks could have been cleaned a little more frequently, but you can't stop people and their poor bathroom manners.

Didn’t actually get to the site

Their policy on amendments. My husband broke his collar bone unable to drive the week we were due to stay and they gave us no option but to loose all our money. Moving the date wasn’t an option or percentage refund. For a big company I would think they would be able to make some allowances. Considering they were fully booked so probably could resale our pitch

3 adults 2 children 5 and under. We stayed for almost 2 weeks.
Great location, out the way and quiet except for the birds. Perfect base for days out and exploring. Reasonable priced.
Shower and toilet block next to tent field, showers were good temperature although a pain having to keep pushing the button but great pressure too. Toilets were big and clean with also individual changing rooms with plugs for shavers ect separate male and female bathrooms.
Tent pitch is great size, clean, well kept area, whole tenting field is big with room for kids to play and fresh water taps.
Small park and pool onsite. We didn't get to use the pool as was out everyday but it looked clean and ideal for young kids. Park and tennis area wad great for the kids to run around.
We had an issue with other residents at one point being overly loud at 11/12pm. We contacted the onsite warden who asked them just to quiet down a little which was a really nice feature to have. Quiet hours are between 10pm and 8am although some general noise was expected and apart from that one night everyone else was really respectful in their noise levels.
The shop on the campsite is great, not loads in it but enough of the basics and reasonable priced especially when we forgot our mallet.
Keypad entry for cars and car park is maybe a 3 min walk from tent field which was great we felt really secure.
We didn't use the WiFi much but when we did it seemed good enough quality for some browsing and maybe a film.
We were there before English schools broke up for the holidays so it wasn't overly busy which was nice.

My 2 daughters were gutted to leave and we'll definitely be back.
