Enjoyed our stay as we told could pitch up anywhere and no designated pitch sizes nice and quiet

Only one shower had a light out of the 2 showers and 2 toilets and the owner said this was due to covid regulations "it seems as this is an excuse of not spending the money to make it upto standard" and the area very uneven. the entrance to the tent site was very poor rubbish rubble dirt overhanging thorn trees "which scratched our vehicle" uneven ground tight turning and old disused greenhouse made getting onto site not the best impression 🙄 we have a Focus ST if we would have turned up in we wouldn't have been able to get onto the site! Otherwise if Scary was to tidy and improve these issues it would make a lovely place as he is a friendly host !

areas of nice short grass for pitching and areas of longer grass with flowers, butterflies and birds and trees surrounding the field

no washing up facility
approach to pitch area quite bumpy, would be unsuitable for cars with low suspension
approach to site/pitch a bit messy (wasn't sure when arriving this was the official campsite)

Thsi place is brilliant got the site and found we were the only people there that night. Owner come out had cut the grass freshly for our arrival. Showers and toilets very clean and tidy couldn’t be more help if he tried. Have already started looking at going back for a bit of a longer stay.
