Friendly, helpful staff, tasty food and nice eating area was a great plus and the toilet roll never ran out!

The facilities around reception were to a good standard. Well trimmed grass and flat field. Great space for games and play. All the campers were friendly and respectful. Δεν μου άρεσε: Site communication was very poor and signage was also poor, drinking water not clearly marked. There was only general rubbish bins at the entrance convenient for the owner but not great for campers so people just put rubbish in the ash bins unfortunately which could be avoided. The facilities in the main camping field need demolishing the doors on the toilets pop open and leave a massive gap down the edge. The urinals were disgusting with dog mess on the floor which when mentioned was just kicked to the side and remained there all weekend.
We’ve been open 5 busy years and you’re the first camper to misunderstand your arrival instructions. As a non electric you were told to camp in the middle of the field and not near an electric point. And yet you camped on the edge less than a metre from the electric plug - and you were shocked to find out it was an electric pitch. Luckily our pitches are large and the campers whose pitch you poached was happy to leave you there and still have enough of a pitch.
Even when we resolved the mistake on your behalf, and saved you having to move your tent you then became very aggressive and started to belittle me and my team. Luckily for you the camper whose pitch you were in, calmed me down and stopped me making you move your tent. However he had my number and was asked to call me if there was any further antisocial behaviour.
Clearly not mentioning the real reason for the review was due to the fact when you read it back you realised how foolish your actions were.
As you were on an electric pitch your water point was not even a metre away from your tent. We generally presume our campers are aware that a tap is there for water, but also we are available should anyone need advice or help. However I presume you were a little embarrassed to show your face in the shop.
As for bins, dotting bins around site for your convenience creates a pest problem, plus no one wants to look at or smell bins. It’s only a short walk or even drive to the bins if heavy.

Unfortunately not too sure why people decided to only fill a few of the bins to overflowing when there were 4 empty bins next to them. As soon as we noticed we moved the excess waist into the empty bins.
We apologise for the wait, we were taken a little off guard. We are also hiring more staff as our trade has escalated in the recent few weeks since our new team has taken over.
