I would dispute the statement saying shower was cold , all I can presume is you did not set the dials correctly , if this is really the case we would be having complaints everyday and this is the first time anybody has said the shower was cold.

We drove down from Inchnadamph area after a long day on mountains in bad weather and Martyn was very accommodating for us getting there quite late. He welcomed us at the gate, asked if we’d eaten and recommended the chippy a 5 minute walk down the road, which was just what we needed! He walked down and showed us where everything was and where we could pitch up.
The site is right by a lovely river and was just the right amount of busy. There are lots of amenities nearby which was welcomed after some wild camping and remote stays recently. There is lots of attractions nearby so plenty to do!
The showers are warm and there is plenty of space to do the washing up. A lovely stay and would recommend!

It is well set up with a shower, laundry and toilet block, and labelled bins for disposal of unwanted items. There's a weak wifi signal for checking emails and planning onward travel, available up near the owners place of residence. Just outside the camp ground is a well-stocked store run by very friendly folk, and up the road is a fuel station!

I stayed at Riverside Caravan Park for one night and had a wonderful experience. The facilities were clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's a perfect stop for anyone travelling the NC500, with the calming sound and view of the river adding to the charm. Conveniently, there is a local petrol station and shop close by. I would definitely stay here again.
