Many thanks for your stay and very positive comments. We appreciate your shoutout for Jurassic Pork too. The unisex loos do sometimes raise questions. We have got urinals just for the gents, and two of the flushing loos are self contained with a wash hand basin. We offer unisex so dads with young daughters and mother’s with young sons can all go in together.
Excellent site set in wonderful countryside.

Cards accepted on site. Food van on site. Charge points (£3 for 3 hours) were very handy to be able to charge power banks on a 5 night stay. Everything most people would need for camping is catered for.

Many thanks for your visit and for your great review. Over the years we have had many requests to charge phones and devices and now we are able to help with this. Phones, devices and power banks can be charged 2 at a time in a secure locker for £3 (we don’t expect you to rush back from the beach when the three hours are up!)

The toilets, showers and washing-up areas were clean with hot water available. The whole site is well maintained.
The management were extremely helpful and informative, answering all our questions and queries.
Good location for walks. We ventured up the nearby Pilsdon Pen (to find a herd of cattle at the top), Lewesdon Hill (with its spitfire memorial) and around the Eype/West Bay/Bridport coastal loop.Δεν μου άρεσε: –
Many thanks for your review, we are really pleased you enjoyed walking in the Vale. Pilsdon Pen has great views and Lewesdon a lovely atmospheric beech wood atop the summit. Not sure why you wouldn’t recommend to friends. Do you want to keep us all to yourselves, or maybe just a slip of the finger?

Δεν μου άρεσε: Uneven enforcement of rules - having been quite rightly challenged for not having our well-behaved (lying down on his bed) labrador puppy on his lead, I was somewhat disappointed to have to get up at 0230 to tell people in a nearby tent to be quiet. In my opinion, that responsibility should also sit with site management team.
Thank you for your review. We agree that we take responsibility for ensuring guests follow our rules for everyone’s comfort. Unfortunately if we are not made aware of any nuisance then we are unable to take any action. We are available and accessible 24/7 for exactly this reason and if we had been told someone was being noisy we would have managed it there and then.
