We are glad that Natalie liked the location . We don’t understand why they are commenting about bedding as we clearly state that you have to bring your own ???
We tried to meet the family but they were out late and every time we went to say hello there was no one there . We state that there is no wi fi however there is strong 4G and so not sure what the problem is there . We would like to have real beds but they get damp and unhygienic in wet weather and so the futons are the most practical. They also fold up to make more space during the day and evenings if the weather is bad .
It’s just a meadow on a farm and so not sure how to modernise a meadow . ?
We will be returning, we loved every minute of our stay

She told us which areas we could set out tent up and offered to bring us sausages, bread, bacon and eggs (which are a must as they are delicious!!)
The facility’s are what I would expect on a working farm, it is not a luxury hotel. The showers and toilets were clean and tidy, the water pressure and temperature was amazing for a camp site.
The views are amazing and it is only a short drive to many attractions, Sue gave us great tips of where to go as we had never been to this part of the UK before and we were not disappointed at all! My son who is 9 loved every minute of it and loved the animals and especially Walter, the friendliest golden retriever ever.
All in all, if you are looking for a lovely little camping site with friendly hosts and great fresh food then you are in the right place. Yes it might be a little rustic but that is exactly what I was after, our one week holiday felt as if we had been there for 2 weeks (I would have happily stayed another week if I didn’t have to go back to work) it was exactly what we all needed!

We hebben genoten bij Pattacott Farm. Een echte boerderij camping, bij een boerderij in bedrijf.
Nette douches en toiletten, super vriendelijke eigenaren. Verrukkelijke worsten, spek en eieren van eigen boerderij gekocht zeer goedkoop aangeboden. We hebben genoten en gesmuld!

Will not return
This lady has written a mostly fictional and very unfair review . She booked a non electric grass pitch for 2 nights . It costs £15 .
She pitched her camper in my electric pitch area having been told to pitch where she liked in the lower non electric grass pitch meadow .
As she had an awning and I am kind I didn’t ask her to move .
She had booked a meal in a local pub that is very poor and so I made a call and re booked her a meal in a much better pub .
She was staying with a friend to attend a festival at the WYelds and had to walk 4 miles to get there on dangerous lanes . I offered her a lift for my expenses and drove her there . The weather was not good it was wet and windy . She was hardly at the camp site at all as at the festival . She came back very late at night and left the following morning .
The showers and loos are really clean and there are hooks for clothes . It is not a large block as we started during the pandemic . We are extending the facilities and always clean them every day and take good care of our visitors . We do have composting loos too at the bottom of the site to save people walking all the way up to the loos but you don’t have to use them.
This is a farm stay not a 5* hotel . The drive is a bit bumpy but there’s no way it will damage your car if you drive sensibly .
We don’t have sewers ?so don’t know what they mean ??
It can be windy for sure . Like a lot of places on the north Cornish coast .
Not sure who this is but it would have been good if they had , had a chat with us at the time about any concerns ?
We do have a small shower block . It’s a small friendly farm site . It’s always clean and the water is hot .
