Lovely stay at Misty Meadows. Very peaceful with lots of space between pitches. Perfect for visiting the Jurassic Coast.

The firepits you could hire were brilliant with a hanging grill to cook over the firepit with. Drinking water taps at regular intervals around the site. Didn't use the showers or toilets as we had our own onboard but they looked nice and clean.

Very friendly welcome. Was great to hear the owl hooting in the trees at night. They also have a small van that serves coffee, tea and cakes every morning. All in all a lovely couple of days and will go again next year

This is the second time we have stayed here, it’s such a beautiful place. You get to pitch where you like with so much space. We chose the weir meadow this time and it was beautiful right by the little river. We hired the fire pit and brought some logs which kept us warm in the evening. Showers are really good and there’s now a washing up station which is so handy.
It’s such a peaceful and serene place to be, at night you can just gaze at the stars while you watch for bats flying around and listen for the owls at night and in the morning you can hear the sound of the cockerel and the cows from the dairy farm. This is my go to camp site and one I will return to year after year,
Amy is lovely and there to greet you with a smile and nothing too much trouble

Absolutely nothing

The site was very peaceful surrounded by woodland and a river. We chose the weir meadow which meant we needed to load up a wheelbarrow to transport everything from the car. The pitches were flat and the field was so big that we were able to camp in our own little peaceful area. No light pollution meant that we had a sky full of stars at night time. We loved relaxing at the fire pit at night and listening to the water running in the river. The owners were the most friendly and accommodating I've ever come across in 20 years of camping. I wanted to rest and recharge and I definately managed that. We were a short drive to so many beautiful places and spent days on the beach at Kimmeridge and Lulworth. We'll certainly be back!

Everything was lovely, we pitched up in the corner of the meadow so the kids were able to play in the water. All the facilities were clean and easily accessible. Loved that there were wheelbarrows to make it nice and easy to move all our stuff. We lost our fire pit so rented one there and it was cheap to rent and perfect. Our whole family loved our stay there!

Plenty of space. People generally respected the quiet hours. Showers were hot.

Bit of a pain getting a family tent across the car free field. Could do with a bigger barrow/trolley

Beautiful location. Very peaceful. Easy access to tourist sites and coast. Dog friendly. Functional facilities with hot water in showers. Friendly hosts.
Would definitely return. Great for star gazing.

I loved everything about this camp, the people, the facilities, the relaxed atmosphere. The location is perfect to explore the gorgeous Dorset coast, including Durdle Door. The experience was one of the highlights of our summer.

Amazing campsite in a glorious area! Staff were so friendly, communication was excellent and they were very accommodating. The site was spacious and quiet, and all the facilities were well maintained. Huge perks - surprise coffee truck in the morning, and the fire pits available for hire with a grill shelf. Gorgeous stay and will hopefully return to the Jurassic coast soon! Worked really well for our trip with friends.
