Solid friendly site with good clean amenities, friendly crew living on site. We took our hired motorhome here and enjoyed it a lot, even though it was the deep freeze week in the UK. The partnership with the nearby (10 minute drive) leisure park was cool too, as we could go and get a cheap nice meal, plus play on the arcade machines, even use the indoor swimming pool if we'd been more prepared.

Being Winter, the playground was closed and the games room didn't really have anything for young kids - but then, it never claimed it so it's not a big deal!

Great site, very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Good facilities - even in winter (fresh croissants and tea!). Very clean and warm toilet/shower block.

Nice to be able to use pool etc at Shorefields.

Definately visit again.

Clean site ,very friendly lady at reception .

The mains power cut every 15-25 minutes on both the Friday and the Saturday evenings .From approx 5pm to 10pm .Would not like to be there when the site was full ! Also what sounded like a rave was going on on the Saturday evening until 3am .

Size of pitch. Condition of park. Access to dog walking. Staff excellent.

Well presented site with nice sized pitches. Plenty of space to have some privacy. Clean and decent quality shower block/toilets. Convenient Spar shop on-site

Shop was closed quite early in Saturday despite advertising winter hours it still closed earlier than advertised.

Very friendly well organised welcome. The lady upgraded us to a gravel pitch due to heavy rain. Only planned to stay for 1 night, however we booked for another in the same week. The toilets were super clean with hot water, great showers and a hair dryer. Great music so you can dance whilst showering.
Great shop with fresh bread in the morning. We used the swimming pool and restaurant in shore fields park. Again full of lovely staff, very clean. A great touch to be able to pop over and enjoy those facilities too.
Like I said already booked again for our week, but will definitely be back back year.

We loved how small the site was and the really friendly staff. The bakery was a bonus as was the enclosed dog exercise field which we used every day.
The fact we could have used the facilities at the local resort was a bonus even though we didn’t actually get around to using them!
Well stocked shop with all you would need should you forget your essentials.
Great base for being a tourist in the forest.
Good price for what it was..albeit I purchased in an after season sale.

We booked a premium pitch which I have to say was small even for a ‘weekender’ type awning. If we’d taken our larger awning we’d have struggled to pitch.
On this note, there wasn’t much space between pitches so you have to keep your fingers crossed for considerate neighbours. We fell foul of this for the latter part of our trip with noisy neighbours who didn’t respect the ‘quiet after 10’ rule at all.
The shower facilities weren’t brilliant..the drains were blocked and I found myself ‘downstream’ of two other campers showering essentially standing in their dirty water.
I’m not sure I’d have been happy had I paid premium prices for this.
