Good site. Great location. Owners really nice

Disappointed with the river but not the owners problem. Looked like a pollution problem

The owner was absolutely amazing was very polite and welcoming. They delivered us the logs as promised even later on at night. The toilets were to a great standard. I would defiantly go back again.

Loud music/partying next door to us until about 2am which kept us up all night

Liked that staff were friendly and helpful. We definitely felt like we were further from home than we were, with the green scenery. We have been at more expensive sites and felt they didn't look after the toilet facilities. Given than the toilets are limited the upkeep was great. We left feeling very relaxed and the children loved having the safe space to play.

Nice little get away sight. Got engaged to my girlfriend here. The lady who greeted us was a pleasure she even went to her own house to get us champagne glasses cause we had none.

Lovely welcoming staff greeted us on arrival, washing up station with vending machine, those cold cans are a God send on hot days, toilets and sink basic facilities but does the job. Also you can get great service so no loss of Internet, Lovely views of the lake and surrounding area and local farm animals. We didn't hire one but I do believe there are also fire pits for rental. Can't wait to visit again

Only downside is no showers, but don't let that put you off visiting this beautiful campsite

Absolutely stunning views , lovely owners and the lady who stays on site to manage things is lovely, her grandson is such a hard grafter and so polite ! Facilities are clean. Area is lovely and quiet we can't wait to come back 🥰

Just spent a weekend here with my 2 older children. Lovely relaxed atmosphere in a tranquil area. The campsite is well set out and 2 different toilet blocks one in each part of the field. Plenty of choice for electric hook up and non electric hook up, you are given a choice when you get there. A few reviews mentioned sheep poo all over the field but we hardly saw any. There were a few sheep in the field but they didn't come to close to people camping. We will definitely be going again.

Nothing comes to mind, other than it would be good if there was clear access to the river

Definitely down with nature. Kids enjoyed a paddle in the river and exploring the campsite
