The site was beautifully presented and the pitches were well laid out. The facilities were exceptional, clean and modern. A good site for a base to tour the fabulous sites in the area. There was a bit of traffic noise but it didn't bother us and the hosts had put up a decent fence to suppress the noise. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Δεν μου άρεσε: Unfortunately the pitch we was on was the closest to the road. The noise was horrendous, the road is a rat run for HGVs and constantly all night the noise and vibrations kept us up and we barely had 20/30 minutes of sleep.
Someone with a terribly loud motorcycle reving it at around 9/10pm closing the gate was also unpleasant as it caused the van to vibrate.
I didn’t find the site relaxing and as a lack of sleep had a terrible headache.
I would have preferred screaming children than the noise and violent shaking of the van when HGVs bombed past all throughout the night. It is a nicely laid out site, but we had a night from hell.
It's no secret that our site is next to a main road, however to state that our wooden entrance gate that is 25m from the pitch caused our guests van to vibrate is totally ridiculous.
If you're such a light sleeper, why would you book a site that is next to a main road and then complain about your poor choice.
Just love it here …. It’s got everything you need and more

The showers and toilets are so clean and tidy they are a pleasure to use . My dogs love having a run in the dog garden in the mornings before we go off for our beach walk. The pitches are a good size and easily accessible we have our motorhome and car on the pitch together and still plenty of room We are having such a relaxed time here that we’ve booked to stay another 2 nights. Yes it can be noisy from the road but we have slept very well as you do tend to shut it out …. So ignore the negative reviews come see for yourselves……it’s a great get away

We decided to stay an extra day due to bad weather for travelling, but later in the day the weather cleared and Mark had no hesitation in offering us a refund so we could leave , but we declined and stayed the extra day despite his understanding.

We are sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay and we realise we can't please everyone, but whilst we actively encourage constructive criticism for points that we can change and improve our site, we feel that your points are not justified. Firstly, you knew our site was next to a main road when you booked, as you were returning your rental motorhome to the dealer across the road from us. If you knew traffic noise would bother you, why didn't you book a site in a quieter location? You also booked the wrong date and then turned up a day late. This wasn't a problem as we had availability and we gave you the choice of pitches so you could have chosen a pitch further away from the road, as it was you who choose a pitch close to the road. The showers have 3kW wall mounted fan heaters. You just have to turn the switch to ON! The toilets have frost protection heating only, as guests often leave the doors open when they've finished. With regard to the dog walking area, unfortunately we do not have control of the weather and it's the middle of winter. When it rains, then this does cause the ground to get wet and the dog exercising area does get muddy in places. We have a sign which warns our guests that this can happen.
