Δεν μου άρεσε: The fact that there was a rowdy flag bearing group next to us having a party until gone past 11pm talking at the top of their voices, women cackling and swearing showed us that this was not the serene peaceful camp as advertised! The first night I had 2hrs sleep and my husband had to ask them to keep the noise down (which they didn’t) and the 2nd night we had to sleep in our van to deaden the noise because the party continued. Our weekend was spoilt because we really wanted peace and quiet and to be able to relax. The website said no hen parties etc are allowed, that’s why we chose it! Don’t get me wrong, we are in our early 50s, but we’re also cool, done it all and worn the t shirt old skool and traveled the world. We wouldn’t be moaning unless it was bad. For a campsite, the noise from this one group hijacked our weekend. Yes we could have found another pitch, but after driving then spending an hour putting up our tent and arranging stove, beds etc we just didn’t think we should have to, and didn’t expect it to go on for 2 nights. We probably won’t stay again, just because despite what the site says, peace and quiet is not guaranteed.

The site is also dog friendly and offers other types of accommodation so you don't need to own a Caravan/Motorhome or Tent to use this site.

Thanks' for your review ! I am fully aware of the six people your referring to as I received a text from you highlighting the people in question ! On the first night my wife & I walked the site around 12.00 & didn't see anything untoward ! Just people talking around a camp fire which of course we allow !The second evening my wife & I actually went to talk the party again ! And again ,they were talking around the camp fire ! We left them around 12.00 when they were all going to bed ! I appreciate some people by nature talk louder than others , but we really can't stop people talking !! As I saw it they were not doing anything wrong ! You will be very hard pressed to find a site quieter than ours ! You must realise that August is all sites busiest time ! From the months September through to June such is the scope & nature , It is possible to find pitches here 50m away from anyone else , so I really do think your over reacting !
