Super pitches are fantastic
Very clean

All extras are charged on top of booking fee, stayed 2 nights had to load £20 to cover electricity and after the stay you are unable to claim back unused credit so have £8 available but can’t get it back or use it. No enforcement of dog owners who allow their dogs to be off a lead.

Location

At these prices, everything should be 100 percent but this was the worst site I had ever stayed on in 5 years motorhome touring the entire country.
Website stated restaurant was open through Christmas, checked on the phone too when they rang me to ask me to check in early for them as it was Xmas eve, so I cut my plans short to accommodate them (Check out is 10am - ridiculously early and if you want to stay later its £6.50, even if you helped them out by arriving early), I then arrived at the site to find it would be shut so I ended up having to go get a pizza for Xmas day.
Very poor numbering of the plots - it should also be shown at the end of each row.
Most facilitates closed causing lengthy walks in the cold.
Most pitches sloping and need chocks, you aren't warned of this at any point when they give you your plot.
Pitches being reserved despite not being used at any point. Flat pitches that is.
Everything designed for maximum profit with minimal concern for customers experience.
Everything is digital and requires constant use of smart phones, apps for everything and additional fees.
Exceptionally weak and unprofessional manager.
Electricity broke down three times whilst setting up, having gone pizza shopping, with long walks back to the constantly understaffed reception every time to try and sort it out, despite the appalling attitude of the staff who act like it's your fault they have messed up repeatedly and you are bothering them!
Numberplate recognition barriers never worked and nobody came when maintenance were required. Thankfully some other regular. campers new a trick with the buttons that trips the system and let's you in, which relieved the long queue
Many issues I had to tolerate seems to have already been raised repeatedly reading other reviews, and yet they are still happening - this should tell you everything really. I work too hard for my money to give so much of it and recieve an experience like this for it

Facilities clean and modern, restaurant on site. Easy access to public transport.

The site was easy to find, which is just as well as i can get lost easily, The lady on the reception was so helpfull and friendly which is a realy nice start and it meant my wife then is happy, Happy wife = happy break. The facilities are great and well maintained as is all the site. I know it was December but it was a quiet spot and we could look down on the lights on the site of a night time, it was so festive. The pitch was spot on, nice and big, easy to hook up electric and we had good tv reception, although an ariel hook up came with the site. The site staff are friendly and helpfull where ever you go, and they send text updates of anything of intrest thats going on at Cofton. Its well worth taking advantage of the pool we loved the pool its a nice temprature, has a jacuzi area plus access to sauna and steam room, also very reasonably priced. We had a meal one night in the restaraunt it was really good, and its a cozy set up. The whole site is quality and well maintained. We enjoyed it so much there we added extra time. We will be coming back soon, my wife told me.

The site was very clean and tidy. Well kept modern facilities with a good range of activities on site.

Additional costs for everything, especially the electric. It was done via a website and is metered. You have to top up a minimum of £10. We used about £4.50 and when we left the remaining balance disappeared. There is no point in having it metered if users are going to be charged their full balance anyway.

Excellent ; well organized, wonderful facilities, spotless toilets and showers - hot and good pressure. Great location.

The length of time before have to repush the button on the showers should be longer.

Dog friendly everywhere which is so important to us.
Great stay - immaculate shower blocks which were nice and warm.
Have booked again already.

One shower block closed as quiet season which would be fine but a little walk to the loo when in a van was the only downside. Would not put us off and if we stopped in the winter again could bring the portable loo for late nite trips. Charging for Wi-Fi - low tv reception ( expected )

Large level pitch with gravel that does stick to the soles of your shoes. Warm shower & toilet block. TV aerial usefully. Amelia’s bar lovely. Cleanliness amazing.

Men shower pressure a bit low
