Δεν μου άρεσε: I didn't realise we would be staying right underneath a huge row of electrical pylons. My fault for not reading the reviewd as they are mentioned a lot. The static electricity from these effected most metal surfaces in our tent, not enough to shock us but enough that they all felt odd to touch and it set us both on edge knowing there was some electrical charge being conducted. We wouldn't want to stay again due to this sadly.

We didn't use the electric hook up as we are self sufficient. We also didn't use the WIFI. We were in bay 6 right next to the pond. The site is so peaceful with plenty ducks to keep you entertained and if you are lucky the cows come to the gate for a scratch. We had food in the Stepping Stones Restaurant and had the rump steak......it was so good. The bar staff were lovely and very helpful. We sat in the conservatory for the meal and the views were beautiful. We spent one of the days fishing ( hubby's past time ) £6 per day to fish. The pond is well stocked and we got a few big ones. The site itself is clean, tidy and very quiet. We have booked again to come in Sept for a couple of nights.

Μετάφραση (Με την υποστήριξη του Google Translate)Μου άρεσε: The actual site was immaculate, toilets/showers etc, peaceful place in the daytime, lovely to walk round too see the cows/sheep/ducks ,gorgeous views, restaurant/bar was brilliant too, great with water taps and bins for dog bags were handy. Staff friendly, Walk along the river wyre at the back of the campsite to and from the restaurant was lovely. A duck had laid an egg by our tent which we were fascinated with.
Δεν μου άρεσε: The train line /motorway noise was quite loud at night, we did get alot of disturbed sleep, also the electric pilelon above you could hear too, don't notice the noises in the daytime only at night, Pitches are on a slight slope and not so level in parts, grass was bare in some areas.

Δεν μου άρεσε: Shower block too far away from touring site.noisy with trains running all night and ducks quacking from 4 am onwards.
Thank you for leaving your review. We are sorry some aspects were not to your liking. Unfortunately we can do nothing about the trains as it is the main line between Scotland and London even if they are 2 fields away across the river. The distance from the tenting field to the shower block is approximately 200 yards but we appreciate it is not near the bottom of the park. The ducks do wake up as it gets light and will make their presence felt.
