Only one shower inside and two outside (but enclosed) showers. Site was was maintained and clean. There is a river walk on site but no other play areas, there is a river next to the site so might need to be careful with young children or crazy dogs. We had a lot of rain overnight so it was quite fast the next few days but it was fine. There is great play area in Glyn Ceiriog just up the road. We visited both Chirk Castle and Erddig during our stay. Would happily stay again. The wifi was a bit hit and miss location-wise but when good was fast enough to stream videos.

Δεν μου άρεσε: Unfortunately washing machine out of order which I was relying on as been aware for over a week. Could do with designated pitch layout as not great others walking in front of your pitch ( costs more) to go in the river. Totally onboard with kids and dogs in the river ( we’ve 2 dogs) but there needs to be access for other campers to enjoy this without intruding on your pitch. A designated entry would be ideal.

The riverside pitches don't cost more, all pitches are the same price except for EHU and non EHU. The issue you have raised can happen during busy periods, we have plans in place to put a designated path in on the field so that people can get to the river, there is another designated path to the river on the other side of the park.
The washing machine is being replaced, sorry it was out out of use when you were relying on using it.

We were greeted with a warm & friendly welcome from the site owners who were always around if needed & never to busy to have a chat. We loved that it was quite & you felt safe. There were numerous areas to fill up on water, the area for recyling & disposing of rubbish was great & well thought out. Option of outdoor shower & inside. For cycling, walking & people who love the outdoors & natural beauty this is a stunning place to experience all, stepping back in time & escaping normality.
Δεν μου άρεσε: Our only gripe & it is small, we personally felt that as our time went on there that it became a bit packed in along the river bank. We enjoy our privacy & space.
Thank you for your review. Regarding the showers their are 5 in total which is sufficient for the size of the park however on a bank holiday weekend or a very busy weekend we are aware they can get busy.
We constantly look at ways of increasing the showers but planning issues are a problem, we will keep working at it. Thanks
