Quiet, peaceful site, lovely clean shower block & toilets,they have thought of everything you need, shower gel, toilet paper, hairdryer, washing machine & tumbledryer good price, we are here in September so not a lot of people camping so no queues for the showers etc 😍, perfect relaxing time xVery welcoming & friendly too xWe stayed an extra night x Be back again soon x

The fish weren’t feeding in lake x👀😂Maybe next time? But was still lovely sitting by the lake watching the birds , frogs, dragonflies etc in the sunshine x😍

Beautiful location, very warm and friendly welcome.

Upon arriving at Le Lieu, we could see that the site was very clean and the staff very pleasing.
Whilst staying at the campsite in our pod, we encountered a heatwave that was very hot indeed. The site owners was very good in replacing a fridge to make sure our food was catered for and also a fan was placed in the pod to help with the heat.
The pod was well equipped with everything you could think of for a camping experience and that the quality of the food was fantastic in the restaurant on site.
Our experience at Le Lieu was a lovely relaxing experience therefore would return with no doubt. Thankyou xx

The only thing we could think of was the wasps

The welcome was lovely, we had a choice of pitches which Julian the owner took us around.
The site is set in lovely open countryside, the bar/restaurant are situated in renovated farm buildings.
The pool is lovely and loungers are available.
The toilet/shower block is modern and spotless.
This site was a great find, we booked for 5 days and we mainly chilled on site as it was perfect.
Wifi available at the bar, also has great 5g coverage via EE's French partner "Free".

A wonderful campsite!! Great pizza, a lovely bar, lovely and clean swimming pool. The pitch was perfect and the facilities were very clean.
Situated in a beautiful landscape with wonderful hosts who were welcoming and so helpful. I’ve stayed here twice now and would highly recommend it.
This is the best campsite I’ve stayed in France. Thank you!!!

We stayed just one night on our way down to the Bordeaux Region. We stayed here last year for the whole holiday. It didn't disappoint. We were lucky enough to go on a night that had a music night. We were remembered and welcomed upon arrival, which goes a long way. The facilities are immaculately clean, the pitches vary but many have shade and are well delineated. We sat with our lunch and watched the birds hopping around us looking for crumbs. Because we knew about the area, we arrived early morning and went straight to Thivier, which we knew had a good market on a Saturday and stocked up for the first few days. It felt good to be back. Well done Julien, Charlene and Junior for your success in improving your rating, it is well deserved. Julien, it was lovely to see how much your english had improved and to hear your pride as you welcomed us. thank you all.

This is a lovely campsite in a beautiful area. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. Fresh pizza is available at the bar with plenty of seating on a sociable terrace.
Toilets and showers are immaculate and sufficient for the size of site, and pitches are large and private.
We intend to return.

This place is a little gen,its such a lovely place to stay. Staff are friendly and go above and beyond to help you. We forgot our tent pegs and Charlene was there to help. We had lovely pizzas too in the evening stone baked by the owners. The atmosphere is one of kindness and french hospitality at its best. The proof of this place being a lovely place to stay is that we returned for our second year, and plan to also return next year too. Keep doing such an amazing job.
