Really simple, easy check-in, the hosts were lovely and the animals just as lovely. The views were amazing and watching the moon rise over the mountain was perfect. The campsite wasn't crowded at all with enough distance between everyone to feel like a private getaway with me and my partner. The facilities were great, clean and the hosts even had back-up toilets for busier nights.
We stayed up late to watch the stars and saw a wild barn owl out hunting and woke up to a cuckoo each morning. This is a really relaxed place and somewhere that me and my partner will definitely visit again.

This was the first time I took my children camping and we found the site wonderful. The scenery was fantastic and the owners were really friendly. They took time to stop and say hello and answer any questions we had. My children enjoyed the site due to being able to see the chickens wandering around, being able to see all the sheep on the hills and feed strips of grass to the cows in the fields. In terms of location this site is great for driving to the different waterfall walks and right around the corner from the national showcaves centre for Wales. We are looking forward to coming back and spending weekend trips here and exploring the area further.

The addition of the cafe this year was great and meant we didn’t have to worry about food.

Another great stay, was planning on doing our own food however I had forgotton the gas pipe for the BBQ so had food from the Cae Glas cafe onsite which was fantastic

I would love to give this site 1 star to stop the site becoming more popular but I just can't.
The owners where fantastic and friendly, the site cafe was brilliant.
Some of the site is on a slope but this is the price you pay for stunning views across the valley.
The unisex toilet and shower were very clean and warm.
Coming from central Cardiff it was fantastic to to hear and see the farm animals rather than sirens and flashing lights

porta loos, would have prefered composting toilets as porta loos are very hard to keep clean and tidy

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here!
- Beautiful scenery and fantastic views from our pitch
- Friendly, helpful hosts who even ran a lovely little cafe on site. They also did great looking meals, although we had brought a BBQ to cook ourselves so didn't try it
- Extremely well kept site, with lovely modern bathroom and shower room, with heated floors!
- Beautiful, friendly dogs that we got to play with

Overall our stay was amazing and we would definitely recommend this place, and stay again!

Very nice place to camp,the host Melanie and Aaron were both super kind. We had a great stay and definitely coming back and recommend the place. Hope the additional toilets and showers where finished by then.

Nothing to dislike the place and surrounding views are awesome.

Loved the whole site! The camp site was perfect with a fantastic view all around. Lived that it wasn’t too big so was lovely and quiet. The shower was amazing, underfloor heating was such a lovely addition it made it so much nicer for us not getting cold. Can’t fault this place.
