Nice scenery

Everything is an add on £££. There was nothing to do. You had to pay extra to use the swimming pool, which was fully booked. Pay extra to camp together. Extra for WiFi. They are the Ryanair of campsites.

No noise after 12, even chatting outside your tent is illegal.

WiFi was down most of our stay, with the shop struggling to accept card payments due to no connectivity. No ATM nearby.

Management was extremely rude, and on a power trip.

Showers clean, but toilets blocked most of our stay.

If you are looking for a fun friendly environment then this is not the place for you.

Between the Screaming and shouting on the park well after 1am and the dogs barking all night we had zero sleep
Couldn’t get into the pool as it is well undersized for the size of the site. And apparently fully booked
Very expensive £30 per night non electric pitch. Pitched right out the way from any toilet blocks. 20 min uphill walk to the complex. I had to drive to the toilet blocks
The entertainment complex had no beer on tap and were charging 4.40 for a warm bottle of madri straight from the multi pack bought in a supermarket.
Showers and toilet blocks were filthy and witnessed the cleaner marking on the sheet it had been cleaned and walked off.
The bins were overflowing and people were cleaning there chemical disposals in the drinking water points.
If I hadn’t of drove 3 and a half hours I was going to leave on the first night.
Zero phone reception
I’m glad I only camped if I had of payed for a caravan rental or something I’d be even more angry at having absolutely nothing to do on the site at all. Glad we didn’t take the kids as other than the small playground there would have been absolutely nothing else to entertain them.

Entertainment was very poor considering it was a holiday weekend, also ran out of many alcohol drinks,

We really liked the facilities at the site, the swimming pool was good on the day it rained, play park was great, felt nice and safe for the kids to cycle around, the beach was great.

Unfortunately there was a large group of people all camping together who were extremely noisy playing loud music until 1am and shouting and bawling for most of the night. There was no one on site overnight to deal with this. They were allowed to stay and make noise for a second night when really I think they should have been asked to leave.

The park is in a great location, 2 minutes from a beautiful bay and a small sandy beach. The reception and check in was efficient and staff were friendly and helpful. Shower blocks are modern and warm. Dish washing area was clean and covered. The area around reception was beautiful with ponds etc. Pitches were a good size.

We visited on a Bank Holiday but the park was no where near full. The shop ran out of essentials and the club house bar ran out of beer and other drinks on the first night. Staff in the bar appeared to be inexperienced and unsupported in really busy times. It was chaotic, messy and generally uninviting. Whilst the area around reception was well-maintained, other areas of the park were not and looked very neglected. There was quite a bit of litter around which spoiled the look of the place.

Site was well thought out with plenty space for each pitch. Although site was extremely busy for easter weekend we felt we had enough space. Also the toilet/shower/ pot wash block was well designed and cleaned at least 3 times per day. Walking distance to the beach and nearby towns drivable with good shops and restaurants/cafes.

Site advertised a shop and leisure club, which was so poorly stocked/managed they ran out of milk on Good Friday with no restock until after the weekend and the leisure club was fully booked for swimming all weekend and ran out of most drinks. They also advertised a fishing lake which had no fish.

Shower block quite good at reception. Heated floors are a real treat as well as being warm in the facility. DJ Neil was really good.

Our pitch was water logged which made it difficult to put up our awning. We couldn’t use a big part of the area because it had a huge puddle in the middle of it. We couldn’t even park our car next to the caravan for fear it would get stuck. No menus within easy reach for food in the restaurant. Service was far too slow. Waited 45mins for a plate of chips which came out lukewarm. Not good enough security and patrolling at night. There was a party in a tent opposite the play park which went on for hours and they were burning logs on the chips of their pitch which is against the safety rules. The toilet block at the play park was stinking and not kept clean enough. WiFi albeit cheap enough was the worst we’ve ever experienced in a holiday park.

The kids loved the park and swimming

Toilets were dirty and absolutely no network signal or WiFi over where we were to buy WiFi u had to go neer toilets ..2 fights broke out when on site very noisey

Narrow road to site noisey neighbours onside but this was not the sites fault and they did go and speak to them the following day
