What a fantastic site absolutely brilliant not one complaint would recommend to anyone, we had fabulous weather which just added to trip

Our first visit to this site and we weren’t disappointed. Lovely big site with good sized tent pitches. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. Shower/Toilet block was clean and showers were warm. The restaurant food was perfectly fine, typical pub grub, served in a good time and was hot, staff were lovely. We didn’t use the shop so can’t comment on that but looked well stocked.

Some campers were still being quite loud up to 11.30pm. Us oldies go to bed quite early.

The location of this site was perfect for us, and lots of room at the pitch. The showers and loos were also very good, and a club onsite so we could walk for a drink and food if needed. The staff were super friendly too, lovely, will stay here again, stunning location.

Lorna and the chap who were working in the leisure centre went above and beyond to ensure my son with multiple allergies was catered for , it was noted they were working various roles that day and we can’t thank them

Nothing ! Was perfect

Peaceful family friendly atmosphere.. really good and clean facilities. Liked that there was no signal for phones meant could really escape the world. Playground for kids to be entertained was good. Well stocked shop. Friendly and helpful staff. Pool was good. Beautiful scenery. Ground was well kept and easy to put tend up. Handles the heavy rain we'll. Easy to book and cater for our needs to pitch close together and to facilities and play area. Meant we could see and hear them but could llrt them play too.

Pool got a bit busy at times and changing facilities a bit noisy and disorganised. Quite slow food service and menu options inconsistent. Not much in the way of clubhouse entertainment sos didn't spend hardly any time or money in there. Games room was quite poor for things to do... weather was awful but can't hold that against you

The pitches were well spaced, the campsite was beautiful in a lovely location, the kids loved the park and arcade and the facilities were excellent

- how close the beach is to the site
- the fantastic pizzas and cakes
- the well maintained, clean toilets and bathrooms
- the campsite shop

- the arcade needs an update as some of the toys in the machines are growing mould.

Play area and walks

Very expensive to eat at the club house. The quality of the food did not match the price.

The first toilet block was clean with decent showers.

Staff in the shop were very rude. Two sisters I believe. Not friendly with my two small, smiley, happy children just grateful to be there, their attitude was not welcoming and made me feel uncomfortable.
Park is OK.
Toilet block opposite very dirty.
My pitch was on top of tree roots making it difficult to pitch my tent and uneven making for an uncomfortable stay to which I left a day early.
Can't blame the site for my neighbours but I believe staff should frequent trips around to keep an eye on things, the family next to me were loud and inconsiderate, allowing their children to use my own children's equipment without asking and their dog crying and barking all day.

Loved the fact the toilets were spotless. Took my young grandaughter . So was really handy. Beach is beautiful.
Swimming pool was nice . Nice club house/restaurant. Will definitely be back.
Very friendly staff good pitches

Very rocky to get to nice sand. Park could do to make a more accessible entrance to beach from the touring pitch . Shop is expensive. Detour to Kirkcudbright is long. Not the parks fault but prices at shop could do to be lower.
