Δεν μου άρεσε: Specifically booked this site because of being Adult friendly and offered Food onsite at weekends. However, on arrival on a Saturday, we were told, Oh, the food facility is here only on a Friday despite Saturday being within the weekend. Along with that the site is not Adults only as we saw 2 children when we were there.
Expensive stay considering the site is not what it says it is

We had a fabulous time in the on site bar - Jeff and Jan and their team are wonderful hosts (not forgetting Lucy the gorgeous dog!) The Sunday meat raffle was a hoot and we will definitely be back.

Yes there was no hot water one morning but once you alerted me, and after apologizing I checked the boiler and found it was tripped it was reset and you were informed the water would be ready in 2 hours and for that I am truly sorry
Yes there are kennels further up the road but apart from feeding time any noise is rare.
You were offered 2 different touring fields to pitch your tent, you didn't want the large field as there were other tents on that field instead you chose the top field as there were no other tents on it and it had trees for shade on a very hot day, the pitch you selected was 9mt by 45mt of well kept level grass so I don't understand your issue with it.
The low scores for cleanliness and customer service were particularly bothering considering the other reviews of 10/10 that weekend given from other guests on here and booking.com
Our staff work really hard to provide an environment for you to have a nice holiday and I am sorry if we didn't reach your expectations but I suppose we can't suit everyone.

I am sorry Bowdens Crest Holiday Park was not to your liking. I am at a loss for the low scoring particularly on cleanliness as we usually score 10/10 especially as there was no incident reported. We do pride ourselves on the standard of cleanliness.

Great community bar on site with super friendly locals. Stan gave a perfect introduction and understanding of all the amenities. Added bonus was the dog walking park. A real gem thank you.

The toilet/ showers were always spotless the whole place was immaculately kept. The views from our pod were amazing you could see for miles. Stan the owner was so friendly and welcoming the whole place has a beautiful calmness about it will definitely be back😁
