It was lovely and peaceful and the toilets are very clean all be it a little dated.
Staff are very friendly in the pub and even gave our dog some biscuits. We had gammon steaks and they were amazing.. Would definitely stay here again.

Good location with a good bus service into Chepstow. Friendly helpful staff. Reasonably priced pitches.

Shower and toilet facilities need upgrading. Poorly kept, not clean. I did not use due to these reasons.

Food in the pub was excellent and everyone really friendly

We didn't dislike anything the only thing that would be nice would be to have a washing up area.

Absolutely stunning weather. Fantastic little pub nestled between Chepstow and Lydney. Excellent food and a lovely Sunday Dinner. The drinks prices are low which is a refreshing change compared to a lot of the bigger holiday parks. Lydney Harbour and St.Briavels Castle are nearby and well worth a visit. The Forest of Dean is not far away.

No real dislikes. The toilet / shower block could do with upgrading, but it never bothers us. This is our third trip to the Blacksmiths Arms in 12 months and we will return. Highly recommended for the price.

We didn't dislike anything about our stay. Some suggestions for improvement of the site would be hot water in the sinks in the male toilets to allow for shaving and a washing up station.

Difficult to fill up with water for a motorhome, but wouldn’t stop me going back.

Quiet site and very clean facilities. Had an excellent steak in the pub and a very comfortable three nights visiting family.

Nice pitches , quiet location

Arrived 2pm ish on a bank holiday to be told bar closes at 3, stayed with another couple, ate dinner, not great lasagne dry , steak not the best ..we ate and left and used the globe five minutes down the road the following day, which great .. fabulous atmosphere,really friendly staff and food was amazing... Toilets at the blacksmith never managed to get hot water to wash hands and cheap kitchen roll used as hand drying facilities...

Lovely compact site and so peaceful I slept better than at home! Electric shower meant water was always hot - but the real gem was the food in the pub. FABULOUS. So much so we ate there 2 nights out of our 3 night stay. Compliments to the AMAZING chef. David made us very welcome and all staff were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back.
