Beautiful views and stunning walks nearby, staff at the farm shop and reception were nice.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience at Bentonville farm. It seemed that the site was massively over-booked as there was barely any space to pitch up when we arrived and ended up pitched on the only available space: a big incline. I appreciate that a weekend during the school holidays is going to be busy but the site did not provide the appropriate levels of cleaning for this influx of campers. The bathrooms were filthy, showers unclean, toilets not stocked with toilet paper and soap, overflowing bins, and as far as we could tell only cleaned once a day. The rubbish bins for campers to use were also overflowing with people having to leave rubbish on the floor near to the toilet blocks (and again were only emptied once a day).

The other issue was that as advertised there was 'live music' on the Saturday night at the farm shop bar (appeared to be more karaoke type music)- this was fine initially, music was heard loudly across the campsite but we expected this. The problem came when it continued loudly until gone midnight. The site advertised a 22:30-06:00 quiet time so I don't understand how the site could justify blasting music until very late on a site with many small children and families. We barely slept because by the time the site was music free people took a very long time to be quiet. The Sunday night was slightly better but still dirty with rubbish everywhere.

I don't like leaving negative reviews and staff were genuinely pleasant but I'm a regular camper, have never had an experience like this and was left really disappointed.

Liked where we could pitchup where ever was a nice area with a lot planned for the weekend also liked the fact there was a cafe

Early opening of the cafe because of the bad nights sleep! Also a pub on site with an event on which cost £10 but we didn't go in.

The cost of breakfast £12!! it looked large but it seemed very expensive! The shop was also very expensive but I expected this. The mens toilets floor were apparently swimming in urine though by late evening...

Great views, nice to have a little shop on site. Good location in the peaks.

The shop always shut earlier than it advertised, twice we went and it was shut early. The toilets were basic as expected but not well maintained at all. The porta loos were disgusting. Also 4 showers is not enough for the whole campsite.
No signal or Wi-Fi.

Great location and camp site was very clean. Beautiful views over the valley. Having live music walking distance was a massive plus which everyone enjoyed

Great little campsite, easy to navigate round and the cafe/bar on site was amazing! They had a live band on when I stayed which was superb, definitely a campsite to remember.
There is livestock as it’s a working farm so plenty to go round and see.
There’s 3 fields to camp on so plenty of room, it is a little steep getting up to the fields so can be a bit of a challenge if your car is not made for that sort of driving.
Al staff were lovely and super helpful, there when we arrived and at the bar all night too.
Toilets were kept clean and had toilet roll every day, the showers were great too, they’re £1 for 4 minutes.

I was disappointed with was the state of the portaloo in the third field, they were filthy. Unusable by the Sunday when I came to stay, they hadn’t been emptied and as stated couldn’t be used anymore as they were full.

Relaxed, friendly and great location for stunning river walks and Monsal trail. Barn and bar good with live music and events in summer.

Expensive if you have a large tent even if only 2 people.
Long queues for showers on bank holiday weekend.
Men's toilets has problems with flushing.
Closest water point broken.

Liked that we could choose the space , farm shop was handy and also enjoyed rental fire pit . Very nice simple campsite ,friendly felt good :)

Absolutely stunning location.... Good site lay out clean toilet shower and wash facilities..... And entertainment drinks food this is a all in one facility..... Bosting the location for walkers and cyclists with numerous trails and only a mile too the monsal trail..... Absolutely recommend too any body... solos.... Couples..... And families..... I will certainly return here..... Also the staff more than helpful and very friendly

Very nice site. Plenty of space for people not to be all together. Nice walks not far away from the site.

Potter loo could need cleaning more often.
