The Cow Shed was a good place to catch breakfast in the morning along with the good choice of cakes etc.

I have to say the men's toilets were absolutely disgusting. From the first time I visited them they were already overflowing and by the end of the day you can imagine what they were like it reminded me of going to festivals back in the day.
If they invested on the toilet blocks or at least cleaned them out throughout the day it may have been better though for the amount of people you can fit on site they need more than one block.

Quiet beautiful location. Fabulous cafe on sight. Facilities were basic but functional. Showers nice and hot with plenty of room to undress and dress dry. Will go again next year.

Excellent facilities, including band in the barn on Saturday night…. don’t worry sounds stopped by 1.30pm.
I stayed in the shepherd hut and couldn’t have been more comfortable.
Fantastic location and views and the most amazing breakfast.
First rate all round, thank you & I’ll definitely be back!

Perfect for a one night stay for me and my Son (4) who wanted to experience staying somewhere in a tent. Bar / Shop / Cafe area was excellent

Toilet/Shower Facilities basic, but no issues for a short stay

Would benefit from a small play area for children but understand its not exactly that sort of site.

Sausage rolls, Bakewell tart, coffee and Beltonville farm beer was all great.
Monsal trail and chee dale walks are very accessible on foot via the back gate of the camping field & mam tor is a 20 min drive- we ended up realising this upon arrival so walked up- views are incredible. Would recommend the chee dale stepping stones in the river aswell!

Had to pay £1 per four mins for showers which weren’t all that clean considering.
Toilets- women’s had two without working light bulbs and men’s were not very clean.
Facilities are a contrast to the shop area which feels a bit more classy with great selection and quality cakes/savoury.

The views, the cafe, the staff were so friendly and the nearby walks, the price!

Had to pay for showers, but the site was very reasonably priced to make up for it

Unfortunately ruined by the second night.

Large group of people blasting music and drink driving and revving engines at midnight.

Bit worried specifically with young children. Glad to of got home!
