Δεν μου άρεσε: To quiet. We didn't feel comfortable as a family with teenagers. We were constantly worried about them making to much noise as there is no atmosphere at the site. Felt like you were ok if your face fits and we felt like we didn't. Children were constantly told off for being by campers tents when put exploring the wood we went out allday to avoid being on site. I'd say more recommend for couples or older campers. Certainly not if you have active children. But we abided by the rules quiet at 10pm but other campers were up until 1pm taking very loudly. Found the price expensive can get better and more equipped for older kids for the price.
Clean facilities, friendly staffs. The pitch was clean and tidy.

Plenty places for hammocks and campfire in each wild camping pitch 🏕😍 possibility to charge phones and power banks. And hot shower after sea it is an amazing opportunity. In hot weather freezer was an wonderful extra! A lot of fun for kids and chill for adults. Clean toilets and showers. Helpful and friendly staff. It was pleasant to stay there. We came after 6 due to traffic. And the instructions were clear how to find the pitch.
Perfect beacher close to campsite too. Highly recommend 👌 we will comeback next year 😍🏕🥳🌄

Signage around site for the walk to pub was lacking. Only found one....could have done with a few more as site very large.....

Thanks for such a disappointing review, I feel this is unfair to say your face didn't fit, everybody's face fits at Ashbourne woods, if there had been an issue with campers telling your children to keep the noise down then you should of come into reception and we could of dealt with this, I disagree with the bit about children and it not being suitable as an owner of the campsite there is nothing nicer than seeing all the children making friends and playing in the 34 acres of land that is for children to go exploring in and having fun, if there was an issue with campers being noisy after 10pm there is a wardens phone number on the reception door which you could of phoned and we would of happily dealt with this matter, regarding the atmosphere it does state a woodland campsite so it is going back to nature and lots of people like the quietness of the woods, but then I guess it doesn't suit everyone, I hope you finding something more to you're liking in the future.
